Wow, my daughter and I spent 20 minutes in the store yesterday and not a single staff member (I counted at least four) acknowledged us. They were not that busy, not that it should matter, but not a single glance, hello, anything. We had just come from Banana Republic where we were greeted or helped by at least three staff members. Guess which shop has our loyalty now? I used to love Anthropologie when we lived in Seattle. What a disappointment this store is due to its staff.

I shopped Anthropologie frequently at the Plaza in Kansas City. That store was so welcoming and friendly. Greeting you at the door, and helping you throughout your visit, going above and beyond. This store not welcoming, rarely greeted or helped. While in Kansas City I wore Anthropologie 90% of the time, the remaining amount at Free People, also on the Plaza. Since moving here, I’ve purchased nothing, as your customer service is so lacking. I’ve switched to Von Maur and WHBM.

I’m extremely disappointed. First dining table was not level and requested return and a new table to be sent rather than a refund. Today I was disappointed again. The new table arrived after months of waiting and again the SAME issue in the exact same place causing it to be not level. To me this states Anthro did not listen to my issue or pictures supplied from the first table nor pass along the info to manufacturer and no one validated the second table was level prior to shipping. Why no Quality inspection of these tables?

I love this store. They have very unique clothes and kitchen items. I found really cute lunch bag with silverware and water mug I had to have! Also the cutest plates and mugs. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

I wish I was rich, I'd be here every day, but you want to know something nice? They treat you like you are! The gals are the loveliest bunch. I love to stop in everytime I'm in Des Moines.

I love, love, love Anthropologie! There clothes are stylish and can be a little expensive but the quality is amazing. That age old adage you get what you pay for is correct here. What really sold me on Anthro is the guest service is so wonderful. You can tell that they do some serious training with there staff. I feel like I'm just hanging out with my friends even when I'm shopping here by myself. They are so helpful and accommodating at this location. They do have wonderful sales at times and I scored a perfect hat for a music festival! Not on sale, I bought a pair of high waisted trouser pants here. I got so many compliments on them that I came back and bought the navy ones too. They are literally the most comfortable pants I've ever owned. Another benefit is they have a bathroom in store which is wonderful. Especially bc there really is only one bathroom on the lower level of the mall. As a normal thrift store gal... where I'd say I purchase 75% of my clothes vintage and thrift. I sometimes feel a bit of buyers remorse at Anthropologie, then I wear my items and think, "hell nah, these are so cute and comfortable and I deserve it!" If you're looking for a fun place to shop and aren't the typical "Mall Rat" I'd say Anthro is for you.

Cool store with lots of different boho items to look at, but everything is very high priced, as expected. The staff didn't greet me upon coming in, nor the few times they did glance in my direction.. I never did receive any sort of hello or can I help you, which encouraged me to walk straight out the door. Too bad, there was some cute things I maybe would have considered otherwise.
