My husband and I visited this location for the second time due to the superior service we received from Jim the first time, and to take advantage of the 20% off Fit Exchange Program. We were sad to see Jim wasn't working but were quickly greeted by Sophie. She provided the same type of exemplary service that we experienced before with Jim. She was happy to help by looking up my husbands pants size on the computer, and showing us where the items were located. At checkout Sophie pointed out the dxl cologne next to the register and mentioned it was also eligible for the 20% off. My husband initially declined and we finished the checkout process with no issues. By the time he made it out to the car he changed his mind about wanting the collage(which smells amazing by the way) and asked me to go back inside and get it. I expected to pay full price since we had already completed the first transaction, but Sophie took the 20% off again without me even asking. I'm not sure what they are putting in the water at this location, but Jim and Sophie are obviously a different breed of salespeople. Customer service like this is will keep myself and I'm sure many others picking this store and location over others. A+++

The DXL in Des Moines will be my store of choice going forward. Jim(the store manager) demonstrates the qualities and personality I look for when I visit a physical store location. Throughout the entire sales process he was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, made me comfortable with my purchase, and never pushy for me to buy more than I wanted. Great experience!

Had good experience the first time. I called to replace the wrong size pants. The guy who served me said he would hold the right size pants. When I got there the next day, they were sold. I was traveling on the following Tuesday and the was Saturday. Was not happy. Customer service needs to be paid attention to.

This location doesn't carry as much of a selection of boxers/briefs as I've seen in other stores, but overall still the best place to shop if you need the sizes.

Eli is a stud. We stopped in here on a Monday night. Eli knows what his stock is and how to find it. I walked in looking for 1 pair of pants cuz I'd torn mine, I walked out with 3 pair. If I'm starting a mens clothing store, I'm building my staff with a bunch of employees like him.
