This is a decent store to find miscellaneous items for a cheaper price point. I got a couple of rugs and a few notebooks for around $20. They also had a neat program where you could add a cheap toy to be donated to kids in need.

I told the employee it was tax free weekend and I was getting charged taxes on clothes and she told me I was wrong despite the huge pile of clothes in front of her, then said it didn’t include shoes despite multiple signs being posted around the store. Another employee said I was the first person to mention the taxes on clothes so they must have been charging everyone the tax all weekend long.

They close at 10 the day we were there, we didn't know it was 10:30 but the manager never said a word and when we realized how late it was we apologized and still were not rushed out of felt uncomfortable.. Great to know they have excellent patience and kind people there!

Call the store back in May and explain to them that I was double charged tell them I would not be back in Des Moines until June 3rd the gentleman that I spoke to said that he would take my name and just to bring the receipt and I would get my money well the lady that was in charge didn't even look for my name and she told me no made me mad right away then I explained to her that the cord that I had bought did not work and she said that if it is not in the package and sealed she cannot refund me my money how can you know if something is defective if you don't try it come on people she told me I had to leave her store and I told her I was not leaving and she started copping an attitude with me so I copped one right back my blood pressure was up the part that made me the most mad she didn't even look to see if there was a message she automatically told me NO the one thing that she did not get is I drive 2 hours always shop at that store when I come down here and I spend quite a bit of money she was just too lazy to go look
