I drive for Doordash and use this gas station as a hub due to its proximity to Jordan Creek. The staff here have been nothing but wonderful. The general manager, Dustin, is an awesome manager and has cultivated an amazing environment, and it shows in the quality of his employees and customer interactions. Trey, who is the assistant manager, is also an amazing employee and always puts a smile on my face when I come in. This is by far the absolute best Kum & Go; heck, it is the best gas station in the entire Des Moines area because of the leadership and staff.

Caleb, Trey, and Nic Absolutely made my day. I had to get 6 bags of 20 pound ice for work and not and not only did they display superior customer service while being checked out but Nic was doing a fabulous job with the floor and Caleb assisted me in loading the ice. Been in customer service 29 years and it's hard to find young young men like themselves who are so good at taking care of the customer. Nice job gentlemen thank you so much.

My boyfriend and I were discriminated against by the general manager Jeremy on Tuesday July 7th. He stole my boyfriends ID after accusing him of being a minor and having an expired ID since we were out of state, not realizing that due to COVID, the expiration extended until September 5th of this year. He then went on to discriminate against me not only because I was out of state but also because I am a person of colour. He refused to even check my valid ID or give me any type of service and told me I was never allowed to come into the store even though I did not do anything nor did I have an expired ID. He was extremely rude and aggressive towards us and had no customer service skills whatsoever. We had to get the police involved and they had to send a cop over to teach their cashier how to tell if a license is valid or not and also to explain the extended expiration date. He also had to retrieve my boyfriends license that Jeremy stole. My boyfriend and I felt extremely threatened and disrespected after going to this Kum & Go. Jeremy is a terrible general manager and needs to be trained properly on how to be one or fired. We contacted Kum & Go several times to tell them about the accident and they still have not responded or helped us. We are now getting the police involved.
