Beware, they will not let you return/exchange anything if the tag fell off, they won't work with you, zilch. Even though on the receipt it has the description. Fitting rooms were full that day? Tough luck~I get it, they can't tell if it was purchased there or not. But they should be a little more lenient on the idea that most people are not going to try and exploit a system that just wants a size exchange. They could easily produce a new tag on the apparel, especially when it's just $20, and resell while letting the customer go on their way with the correct size. But hey, they will gladly take it as a free donation ? Nope, I'll just be taking it to Goodwill~

I found some really fun clothes! While trying on shoes I set my keys down.... Completely forgot. I asked the manager if I could get someone to helpe look a little, and she said that's not their job. Which I agree, but it was how it was said. She then asked me to write my name and number down, and she would call if she found them. I'm far from home with no keys, what am I supposed to do? I didn't say that, but I wanted to. I'm older and bigger, so I don't know if that had something to do with the rude reaction I received. I was very kind and polite... A little teary-eyed when I approached them originally. After the incident, I was stunned and embarrassed as there was three young girls (employees) obviously talking about the incident watching me look. 10 minutes in I found my keys. Embarrassed, if you are plus size they will not be very helpful.

Had no idea this one existed, I found out it's better than the other one in the area! The Plato's has a clearance section. I found pants my size marked 90% off I paid not even $5 for 3 pairs of jeans.

I would give this place a zero if I could. I brought in great condition clothes including a dress that I still had a tag on and never worn dress from Windsor that I paid $80.00. I went to pick up my clothes and they offered me $24.00 for 11 items. I asked how much they offered for my dress from Windsor and she told me $4.00. I seriously don’t understand how they still have this place running. I paid $80.00 for a dress and you’re going to offer me $4.00 and sell it for over $20.00? Absolutely not going to pass with me. I took my dress back and that brought it down to $20 for 10 items. So, pretty much they’ll offer you $2.00 per item and in my case 11 items for $24.00 but once they sell it, it’ll be well over $100 most likely and they are just scamming people. I would rather donate my stuff to Goodwill for free and they’ll sell it at a well REASONABLE price to customers which brings me to another thing. They sell items like they are brand new even though they’re not and again scamming people. How are you going to offer $2.00 for items and sell it for A LOT MORE? Also, when I went to pick up my clothes, I saw the lady going through the clothes and she didn’t even look at most of the items. She pulled it out of the bag and directly put it in the no pile without even examining it thoroughly. So, clearly they’re not going through ALL of the items that people bring in. I’m never going to sell here ever again or shop because the amount they offer you at the end of the day is not even enough for the gas I waste to get there. Such a scam.

I waited over 2 and a half hrs for my small bag of clothes to be sorted one day only to come back with them taking 8 items for less than $14. I brought in name brand items such as Nike, athleta, Under Armour and Lululemon. I know the value of items I have, but was confused as to why the rest of my bag was not sorted and I was offered so little. At the counter, they let me know that some brands don't sell well in their store so that's why they were passed. Made no sense to me when i see the brands in your store. Also do customers only receive 20% of what you're retailing our consigned items for? Not worth the hassle coming here knowing the sorters might do half their job while you wait 2 and a half hours. It was my first time there and also my last.

Lydia turned me away as I brought three boxes in on my own. Had 1-2 hours before close. Initial girl was nice and ready to intake. I offered dropping off and coming back to tomorrow but Lydia wasn't satisfied with that. Plenty of staff to complete drop offs before yet turned away and then talked about "behind my back" as I was right next to them. Not coming back to this location. I'll try Ankeny tomorrow.

I haven’t sold clothes at this location before; BUT for a shopping experience: this is probably the best Plato’s I’ve ever been to! The store is HUGE with such a variety. Great women’s jeans and men’s flannel selections. The dressing rooms are open, too! Check ‘em out! I was not disappointed.

I brought my teenage daughter in this place and I couldn’t get her out of it. She instantly fell in love with thrifting because of this very well kept store. Great customer service and nice dressing rooms
