“As a person using a mobility device, aka a rolling walker, I struggle going into stores that have lots of little items. This store’s aisles and places to walk through were immaculate snd easy to navigate. A lot of times, I skip shopping in similar stores, because my mobility device is a hinderance, and I can’t safely shop the store. When I was there on April 4th, 2025, I was able to safely shop and look with no issues or assistance needed, which rarely happens. The people working were extremely helpful and kind. I hope this continues and spreads to other places. This store is proof that ADA compliance is possible, and fun items are for everyone!”

“I was BLOWN AWAY by the customer service here! The ladies working 8/18/23 saw I was carrying clothes to try on, politely came to me and took the clothes so I wasn’t carrying them around, and reserved me a dressing room. With perfect timing, they asked if they could grab me any other sizes. The other stores I visited before don’t even compete with how I was treated here. “Blown away is an understatement. As a plus size individual, it’s very hard finding a store that carries my size and has very cute and trendy pieces. My jaw was on the floor the entire time. The prices are stellar and the selection is huge. This is a video of just their plus size section. The store was exactly half plus sizes, half straight sizes. I also do not have my ears pierced, and their selection of clip ons is the biggest I’ve found! The staff was amazing and so very helpful (only one woman, and she was dedicated to helping). The store, dressing rooms, and bathrooms were all very clean. This has become my new go-to spot!”

Jackie didn’t just help me — she went above and BEYOND in every possible way! I swear, this woman has customer service running through her veins. She was friendly, energetic, and seemed to have this sixth sense for knowing exactly what I needed before I even asked! ?
I was looking for a gift, completely overwhelmed (because, let’s face it, Spencer’s has everything from hilarious novelty items to the coolest merch ever), and Jackie swooped in like a retail superhero. ?♀️ Not only did she help me find the perfect item, but she also took the time to explain product details, share a few laughs, and make sure I left with a huge smile on my face. You can tell she truly cares about her customers and her store — her enthusiasm is downright contagious!
Honestly, Jackie turned what could’ve been a quick shopping trip into a highlight of my week. If every store had a manager like her, shopping would be a joy every single time. Spencer’s, give this woman a raise, a trophy, and maybe even her own theme song — she deserves it! ??

“I had ordered an item online to pick up in store. During the time my item was available I had a death in the family. The sales associate said they would hold my item until I could make it in to pick it up which was at least three weeks later. They were so kind when I went to pick it up. I even ended up purchasing another item. The sales associates are amazing and caring!!! I would recommend shopping at Torrid!! It isn’t only for plus size women.”
