Hy-Vee Grocery Store offers a neighborhood grocery shopping experience known for its quality, variety, and superior customer service. The store is well-stocked with essentials, including produce, meats, seafood, and beverages, with a focus on local brands. Customers appreciate the friendly staff and the store's excellent layout, making it easy to find what they need. Breakfast at Hy-Vee has become a favorite for some, especially due to the fluffy omelets and friendly service. However, some customers find the prices to be high, feeling that even with advertised price cuts, items remain expensive. While the drive-through pharmacy has received criticism for being slow and inconvenient, the overall shopping experience is enhanced by the option for online grocery orders for pickup or delivery. Despite varying opinions on pricing, many appreciate the helpfulness of the staff and the convenience Hy-Vee provides in the community.
Your is one of the better Hy-Vee's the staff is helpful. They are by far the most affordable for certain items that I use daily . Now as much as I use the store I do have time single for gripe and that's the meat counter being limited on certain kinds of sea food

Came to Des Moines for 3 nights, purchased ready-made food at Hy-Vee for dinners. Exceeded our expectations for quality. Some was restaurant worthy. Priced fairly also. Thanks, Hy-Vee. I hope we meet again.
