The John Wayne Birthplace Museum is a very interesting location in the beautiful town of Winterset. It is a national treasure and a worthwhile stop for fans of the Duke, westerns, movie history, and America. The museum has wonderful and very well maintained exhibits with so much to see and learn about the American icon's life and career, which visitors find fascinating, inspiring, and incredible. The staff and tour guides are very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. Many visitors plan to spend a moment but stay for hours. The gift shop has so much to offer, making it a wonderful experience.

This place is very much worth the stop if you are a John Wayne fan or just a fan of movies. It cost between $17 and $20 to get it in past the gift shop.
