“Excellent place to take your pets. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and caring. Dr Anderson is, in my opinion, the best vet in Topeka. Our two 13 year old miniature Dachshunds have been going there for 13 years. The level of care I get there is amazing.”

“Can’t say enough good about these folks. Several months ago we switched our pack from a few other vets to Westport, and they have been fantastic. They take their time…lots of time…to get to know the animal and ask tons of questions to better understand issues. I never feel rushed and their actions/recommendations have all helped with our fur kids. Highly recommend!!”
“In May of 2016 we adopted "Janice" who was of the Jefferson County's 2015 "Mean Girls" litter, she had been adopted and returned to the shelter twice before she was a year old. Her name since we brought her home has been Lily & she got along great with my Lucy after a slow intro. In March of 2022 we adopted Spooky who had been surrendered with two other cats, he had been there a month and all the staff loved this big sweet all black kitty boy who they said was 5. Our vet said Spooky seemed more like 10, but ever since we brought him home he has been family. I encourage everyone looking for a kitty to adopt the kitties here! Take them to your preferred vet ASAP because kennels unfortunately make diseases easy to pass along, but if the kitty picks you and you have the financial plus physical plus emotional space? Take the nice kitty home, treat it like your own child ? it's only two kitties so far but they are so well loved”
“The acting manager made an exchange of a bag of finch seed very easy. The bag sent to my home had a tear in it and lost seed. I was glad there were no issues with the return/exchange.”

“Took our granddogs to get groomed & 1 vaccine expired yesterday, mind you it was a Sunday. We don't ever get our vaccines early. Drove 40 minutes to get there. Seemed as if they know when we came in it was expired. No phone call, had no where to take the dogs as arrangements were made around the dogs getting dropped off. Very unhappy, looked like it was because they really didn't want to work today. Very rude & unprofessional. 0 for customer service. Had our other dog to drop off as well but due to the way we were treated we didn't feel comfortable leaving him there. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE!”
“Only giving 4 starts because I'm not a fan of places like this in general.I stopped by on my way into the mall because I saw a puppy (pictured) that reminded me of my dog of 15 years who we recently had to say goodbye to and I NEEDED to take a closer look and have a quick cry... The store was clean, staff friendly, good selection of products & quite a few pets. They all looked healthy and well taken care of. Their cages were clean and they all seem to be well-socialized (and SO CUTE).”
