“Love this place to death. The community of people is so amazing and everyone is supportive and kind. I’ve been on worship team for the past four years and it has been an amazing experience. If i’m not busy hopefully this year I can do it again! Definitely give the camp a try and you won’t regret it. The amount of encounters with Jesus i’ve had here is insane. It’s something about this camp that has changed my life. For instance one time i was worshiping for what felt like a few minutes. Turns out i had been there for 2 and a half hours without even realizing and everyone but the people around me, praying for me, were gone. My eyes were dark red from crying lol. Another time some other workers and I were up pretty late after everyone else, outside at the Gaga ball pit, and we all started praying for each other and it started raining and we were all worshiping and crying and this was just on our own. It was such a moving experience but I won’t get into all the details. My point is that Jesus moves at this camp so if you want to meet Jesus, Wheat state is one of the best places to meet new people, grow with them, and grow in your relationship with God. “The Unrein / Stacy families were AMAZING! We could not have asked for a better group of people and venue to have our special day. They were able to handle anything and everything we asked for including some last minute changes in our day. They provided all of the tables, chairs, linens, dinner dishes/glasses (we paid the extra fee for the real dishes), up lighting, and they had some decorations that we were able to use as well. They were always very responsive when we had questions and let us come in on a couple of different occasions to do walk-throughs or look at the décor when we were figuring out our color scheme. What really sold us on The Point, in addition to their incredible pricing, was the bridal and groom suites - they're HUGE! We really wanted space for both of us to get ready and The Point had that for us. They brought us drinks the morning of and we were very comfortable throughout the day. We had our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception there and received several compliments from vendors and guests that they enjoyed having everything in one place. Our food was absolutely incredible. We had smoked turkey and pulled pork with baked beans, butter potatoes, salad, and rolls. It was the most moist turkey that you have ever had and the pork was to die for. We received so many compliments about the food and they even packed us to-go boxes for the night of the wedding and leftovers that we had for lunch for the entire week after! Our bar service was also fantastic. We only paid for beer/wine, but we had a cash bar available for everything else. The Point had it fully stocked for whatever our guests wanted to drink! We HIGHLY recommend booking your wedding or event at The Point!”
