“My husband and I recently got married here, and it was such an incredible experience! The staff were very friendly, kind, and respectful! The space itself is beautiful as well, so we only needed minimal decorations, and the chalk wall is such a great addition!
Our day was perfect!
Additionally, our contract was for 2 hours, and when we had 30 minutes left and realized we wanted more time, the owner allowed us to purchase another hour!
10/10 would recommend for a smaller event, it was perfectly sized for our intimate ceremony and reception! About 60 people!

“We passed by on a rainy day and stopped by for their unique name. This museum has a small bit of everything - I respect the ambition that the owners were building up. I enjoyed wandering through the individual sections from dinosaur to Buddha statues before ending up at the president's area, but also found it odd to find the Berlin wall and a few mummies.”

“I took my granddaughter and we had the best time! There are so many vessels and plants to choose from. The staff was exceptional and informative, the banana split coffee I ordered was chef's kiss! I will definitely be back and bring my friends. Did I mention they have cocktails?!”

“We had such a fun time at Axe To Grind! It’s a refreshing change from the usual dinner, bowling, or escape room. This would be perfect for a family outing with older kids, a night out with friends, a bachelor or bachelorette party, or even a unique date night (just make sure she wears closed-toe shoes!). The basic experience is around $25 per person and includes coaching and game play, which felt like a good value.

They have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, plus a few light snacks. Just don’t go expecting a full meal or planning to make it your “drinking destination.” It’s more about the experience than the food or bar scene.

And honestly… that’s probably for the best. Heavy alcohol and flying axes don’t exactly make the world’s smartest combination. 😂

“I had my wedding here and it was absolutely amazing! Kristi was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, and communication with her was always easy and smooth. I can’t thank her enough for everything she did, she truly made the experience stress-free. The venue was beautiful, fairly priced, and we received so many compliments from our guests. “Very cool musuem, me and my husband went with an Experience Pass from the public library so it was free to get it.
The detail on the trains is insane, and the landscapes are wild, with working lights, moving pieces. The people their are friendly and want to show you what they are working on.

As a person not into this hobby I saw what I wanted to see in 15 minutes, but the people who love it probably spend a whole Saturday there.
Kids would love it and they have little steps everywhere so the kids can see the sets

“I can not thank the owner and her family for putting on an amazing wedding for us! All decorations were done by the Niki the owner and they turned out beautiful! The price we paid does not compare to the amount of hard work she provided to make our day so special! This is a place I will always recommend! There is a dock where you are able to bring your own boat, but it must meet their guidelines. The facilities are spacious and clean. Depending on your rental agreement, you are able to stay in the house by the lake. This is a great place for family reunions, weddings, ect.”

“Stayed here just for a night so it wasn’t bad but it is really meant for extended stays as the room had a full kitchen and they did not do breakfast. The room was clean and had some good appointments (desk and recliner) but the shower was very loud (could hear other people when they ran their shower). For a business trip it would work just fine.”

“I visited this venue for the first time to see a very good comedian named Nate Bargatze. The show was amazing. I really enjoyed how they had the stage set up. I definitely would like to go back for a music concert. It was clean and seemed well maintained. The security wasn't a big deal. I went through the metal detector and moved on with my life. Update: I got a chance to see Weird Al here. It was a great show and the audio for a concert was great.”
