I've been very frustrated trying to resolve an issue with my debit card through customer service by phone and was finally able to talk to Ines at the local branch to get the issues resolved. I was seriously ready to change banks and she took the time to listen, and answer my questions, as well as to find a resolution to all issues.

“Good bye BoA.I just made a new account today after 18 years with Bank of America, with the strange random shutdowns of BoA customer accounts and random security blocks for no reasons it was time to change. Now to be fair BoA did have nice customer support, but the problem is the local Andover BoA for a while now will simply not answer their phones for whatever reason. And sometimes even during the day it looks like nobody is there. So I end up calling the main BoA number for any help and its a long process just to finally talk to someone. But when I called the Andover Intrust Bank the other day, within seconds I had a live person on the phone helping me...no long process and being put on hold etc just to talk to someone, what a nice change. And the woman who helped me was very nice and helpful and got my new account going in no time, excellent!”

“This bank, especially, the Andover, KS one, is beyond what I could have ever imagined! Every time I walk in there, they ALWAYS greet me by my first name! This is huge, considering I also use another big bank right across the street and hate every time I have to step foot in there. Simply, because they do not take customer service seriously like Emprise Bank does. Today, my wife and I needed something notarized and Brian (manager) took the time and made sure all our paperwork was right, AND then faxed it for us to the appropriate receiver. “This used to be Peabody State Bank. It offers the same great customer service, same great staff, same hours, but some of the banking policies and plans have changed. Also, the owners have changed. A lot of things that used to be free now have charges on them. Go figure.”
