“Took our son here for jeans, a belt, a hat and shirts. He's super skinny, so we've had a bear of a time finding good jeans that fit him, but Rachael had him all fixed up in no time with items that were priced competitively, yet were good quality duds and got him the look that he wanted. In addition, it's great to support a local company that has everything we want and a super friendly and helpful sales staff. Highly recommend the folks at Nigro's over some chain store.”
“I live in Texas and ordered a pair of Anderson Bean Ostrich boots online from Nigro's. I had some questions about them and everyone I talked to on the phone was very pleasant. I also had a custom request where I needed the boot straps dyed a different color. Most stores would have told me "no way," but David Nigro, Jr. was happy to dye them for me before shipping out. I got them today and they are beautiful boots, exactly as expected. I will definitely be back to buy more boots in the future!”
“Love, love, love this shop! So grateful my friend introduced me years ago. I have a closet full of dresses that I love! If you have ever had dressing-room-dread, this will be a healing place for you. Sometimes, all I need is to hear is a "ooooooo, gurl" or a queer squeal and clap for allllllll these curves to help me feel better. Retail therapy at its finest! A few of the dresses I have... lol... it doesn't help that my awesome hairdresser is next door!”

“I have been coming here since I was in high school. I recently got into records and have never really thought of this place as being a record store but now it's a must when thrifting vinyl. I came around a $10 Fleetwood Mac record and haven't snatched something up so fast before. I absolutely love how friendly the staff is and all the funky and beautiful art, clothing and gifts this place has. It's a one stop shop on a Saturday for me.”

“I love coming to this place and all the stuff is cute, however, it is starting to become apparent that sellers are using their “small business” title to sell things that they bought from large multibillion dollar companies for a very low price, and they put a price that would be about 10x the price than what they bought it for. There are a lot of great sellers with handmade products, but something that’s began to push it over the edge are some of the sellers selling “lafufus”. It’s starting to feel like going to the mall with all those cheap little toys that they charge you extra for. This place used to be a five stars for me, but recently, it’s been going downhill. I would still recommend it, but just keep an eye out for things you could probably get elsewhere for a better price, unless it is a handmade custom product by the seller. Other than that, this place is magical around Christmas time and there ARE sellers that have amazing products.”
“The person who was working yesterday, who I believe may be the owner or a manager, was SO amazing!! They were so cheerful, explained how their store works and their mission, and was so inviting. They are very obviously passionate about fashion, and made it seem like each piece of clothing was art. They complimented my pants, which had me feeling so good when I left - we need more of that kindness in the world. Just had to drop by to thank them!?”

“MADI is a high-quality shop with a heart-driven mission and one of my favorite spaces to spend time in Kansas City, when I used to live there. The owner welcomed me in by letting me know the shop is based on the premise of making a difference. Everything the store was based on was a manifestation for me to have found: organic clothing, pure plant dyes, devotion to proper pay for people. MADI is a gem, and I shop their online store now since I live in Florida. Their purpose deserves above-and-beyond gratitude. I have two pairs of their silk shorts! This shop is the best!”

“1st time here. Was happy it was open on a Sunday afternoon. Staff were friendly. 4/5 stars for no bugy/baskets-asked if we could pile items on counter while we continued to shop but we're only offered a canvas bag that didn't meet our needs, so we ended up spending only $200 vs the $2k we budgeted (was buying a few items for ourselves and planned to buy to donate the remainder) the franchise owner, Claudia and her daughter were very nice & familiar with brands/pricing.”

“Best boutique workout studio in Kansas City I absolutely love pure barre workouts because they are challenging and also, remind me of my dance background. But, don't be intimidated, they are great even if you've never danced before and just want a workout that will lift tone and burn! All the instructors are knowledgeable and super encouraging.
If you want to try a new workout, come try pure barre...you'll always be tucking' welcomed!”

“Yesterday I shopped at the cutest boutique, Addie Rose. I love their unique styles and sizes for not only the lucky who are 5’5 and over but also 5’2 littles like myself. The sales associate , who happens to be the manager, Megan, was very friendly, and took the time too help me find exactly what I was looking for my event. The stylist at my favorite boutique, Frankie & Jules, recommended that I visit this “neighbor” boutique. This says a lot to me that a boutique speaks highly of another. And from my understanding the admiration goes both ways. Excellent, quality clothing, both trendy and classic styles, superior customer service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere are reasons why I plan on being a return customer to Addie Rose Boutique. “I popped in to visit IMKC while out mall walking over the Christmas season. I rarely drive into the city to walk, so I didn’t know this store was there. Very nice with some fun and interesting items for sale. I am thrilled to see other Kansas City locations than usual displayed here. I bought gifts for my son and his wife as well as myself. The quality of the items is quite good, and there’s a nice selection readily available. The prices are in line with similar merchandise in the KC area. The men who assisted me were very engaging and friendly. I give IMKC two very enthusiastic thumbs up!?????”
