“We just moved here from Seattle. I saw the Zona Rosa studio while exploring KC and decided to join. I joined not only to workout, but also to make new friends since we don’t know anyone here. Pure barre Zona Rosa has been so warm and welcoming. The instructors are amazing and kick your butt in every workout, but also kindly guide you to use your best form. The community they’ve built is unmatched and you can feel it when you walk into studio. I always feel comfortable and welcomed. Thanks for being so welcoming during this transition in life.”

“This place is so cute! The aesthetic of the store is what attracted me to stop and check it out, it has all types of clothes that you need such as basics, dresses and coats. Their vintage section is to die for and I loved that they carry the brand ALOHA which I haven't seen in person just online. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed assistance right away and set up a dressing room for us when we were ready. Check out was quick as well and gave some recommendations. However, I do want to be transparent about the prices as this is more of a luxury store so there wasn't anything they had that was less than $50. But if you are looking for unique pieces I recommend checking it out and even just stopping to get some inspo”

I came around a $10 Fleetwood Mac record and haven't snatched something up so fast before. I absolutely love how friendly the staff is and all the funky and beautiful art, clothing and gifts this place has. It's a one stop shop on a Saturday for me.”

Does that mean I can tax write off my vintage Chanel?? Well, that question remains unanswered. However, the merit of DO GOOD CO. isn't in question because it always impresses. From its fantastic selection of name brand, in tip top shape, lightly used designer goods to the wide variety of unique and local gifts to surprise any hostess or birthday girl or bride to be...or heck just about anyone youre looking to impress. If you are looking for a store that'll make you beam ear to ear because not only are you being kind to the environment you are also simultaneously supporting children and dogs in need in the immediate kcmo metro area then, DO GOOD CO is for you. It's one of those specialty vintage shops that never feels pretentious but does feel exclusive, and I absolutely love that for the downtown KC area. It makes it easy to allow patrons to feel at home as well as making it a luxury shopping experience. I will continue to shop at DO GOOD CO and FEEL GOOD about doing it. Just recently, I was honored to be invited to attend a holiday party at DO GOOD CO. and every detail was well thought out and planned impeccably. I was so impressed by the catering as well as the great selection of vendors who brought flair to the festivities. Thank you for the opportunity of celebrated the season as well as the mission of this spectacle local non profit.”

“I saw they had a hat I wanted that I couldn’t find anywhere else, but it was for sale in-store sale only. This was a problem because I live 3 hours away in another state. I used the chat feature on their website to ask if I could purchase the hat without going to the store, and I was told (with an almost immediate response) to give them a call and we could take care of it. On the phone they were friendly and helpful. They found the hat I wanted, took my payment and I received it just 4 days later along with a handwritten thank you note from the owner. Really impressed with this store and will go to their website first from now on to get the Chiefs and Royals gear I need. Thank you!”

She helped me find something for my mother for Christmas, and I ended up buying myself the same top as I was spending my $25 birthday amount and loved the top!I'm always happy to see Glenda as she truly seems to care and give good advice.My only disappointment with Chicos in general is that there are never very many shorter tops. Being short, the common 'tunics' and 95% of the tops are too long for someone short and can look super frumpy. Both tops I purchased were perfect in length for a change. ??”

“I love Blacque Onyx so much. The first time I came in I bought a crystal wrap from Shoe Klozet (it's a separate store in the store which is also amazing) and THE BEST little black dress I have ever had. It was seriously amazing it fit perfectly, it looked amazing, and the material just kept me cool it was such a nice weight though. I was new to sobriety and so what I like to do to celebrate milestones is go to local stores and support their businesses it just keeps me in balance with my universe. Long story short I lost that dress somehow when I was moving. I have been so bummed because it was perfect and it was really special to me. I just hit a year in May and my sister and I stopped in yesterday I was hoping to find another black dress... which I didn't find this time they had a really cute sheer one but it just wasn't right for me that being said I decided to branch out and explore with some color I found the coolest dress it is a golden yellow and it is unique and different just like me! I also got an amazing pair of selanite wrapped earrings from next door. They are beautiful! When I came then first time I was more so in the process of healing and self discovery I wanted to play it safe and feel good this time around in life I feel more bold and strong so I would say this is my perfect summer dress. I will find my little black dress in time I'm sure but this is a wonderful store. They have a variety of sizes for all body types. They have flattering colors. The dressing rooms are fit for a queen and they are always happy to assist and reccomend with out being pushy. I love Blacque Onyx and what they represent and I am a proud supporter of this shop. Definitely the type of local business who really pushes to be the best and it shows.”

The owner welcomed me in by letting me know the shop is based on the premise of making a difference. Everything the store was based on was a manifestation for me to have found: organic clothing, pure plant dyes, devotion to proper pay for people. MADI is a gem, and I shop their online store now since I live in Florida. Their purpose deserves above-and-beyond gratitude. I have two pairs of their silk shorts! This shop is the best!”
