“I have been a devout fan of Retro Vixen on their social media pages for years and wanted to visit in person for an upcoming wedding I'm attending. I attended their 5th anniversary birthday party, so the shop was gussied up with balloons and cupcakes (they were delicious.) There is something for all body shapes and sizes here, which is SO impressive and a must for 2023. I was given a space to try on clothes. The staff helped me pick out the perfect accessories (a belt with a beautiful bow) and a stunning green cardigan. They also have a punch card, so for every $25 you spend you get one step closer to another punch on your card (full punch card = discount.) Thank you so much!”

“MADI is a high-quality shop with a heart-driven mission and one of my favorite spaces to spend time in Kansas City, when I used to live there. The owner welcomed me in by letting me know the shop is based on the premise of making a difference. Everything the store was based on was a manifestation for me to have found: organic clothing, pure plant dyes, devotion to proper pay for people. MADI is a gem, and I shop their online store now since I live in Florida. Their purpose deserves above-and-beyond gratitude. I have two pairs of their silk shorts! This shop is the best!”

“Shopping here is so much FUN. Katy makes it easy, and has a great eye to pick out pieces that work. I love coming here- came in to find a dress, and left with an amazing dress AND several useful and comfortable pieces for work and a trip. Not to mention the great vibe around Christmas - lots of gift ideas from party snacks to ornaments to jewelry. They just celebrated 16 years in business and hopeful won't go anywhere - a total gem for this area!”

“This place is so cute! The aesthetic of the store is what attracted me to stop and check it out, it has all types of clothes that you need such as basics, dresses and coats. Their vintage section is to die for and I loved that they carry the brand ALOHA which I haven't seen in person just online. When we walked in we were greeted and asked if we needed assistance right away and set up a dressing room for us when we were ready. Check out was quick as well and gave some recommendations. However, I do want to be transparent about the prices as this is more of a luxury store so there wasn't anything they had that was less than $50. But if you are looking for unique pieces I recommend checking it out and even just stopping to get some inspo”

“TeaElla is a super cute Boutique and I had an overall good experience there. The sales associates were friendly and helpful and the store was visually appealing. The only complaint I had is about the “return” policy. It’s not so much the policy, but I wasn’t even informed of the policy until AFTER I paid. I sometimes go shopping and try things on and love them, and then I get home and try again, and I change my mind. After I paid for my item and right when she gave me my receipt she then stated that they don’t do returns, you can only exchange within I think it was 14 days and either get a gift card or find something else. Again it wasn’t the policy, it was just how it was presented.”
