“I can’t say enough good things about Schiffelbein. My son has a Dodge Ram that wouldn’t start, and it’s been a frustrating few months trying to figure it out. Back in November, I had the starter replaced at Dodge in Garden City when the issues first started. It seemed to fix the problem at the time, but continued to have electrical issues.
In January, my son noticed it was struggling to start again, and eventually it completely died and wouldn’t turn over at all. We even replaced the battery thinking that was the issue—but it still wouldn’t start.
I needed a tow and was referred to Schiffelbein. Didn't know they had a shop so I asked them about the issues we were having. He told me that he would diagnose it and if it was a starter issue, I should take it back to dodge so they could cover it under the warranty. They took the time to actually diagnose the problem properly. Instead of guessing or throwing parts at it, they carefully worked through it and found that it was simply an electrical plug that wasn’t secure, the brake pedal position sensor. Once they plugged it back in, the truck fired right up!
What really stood out is their honesty and integrity. They didn’t try to upsell me or charge me for unnecessary work—something I clearly experienced elsewhere. They actually FIXED the problem instead of just replacing parts.
After this experience, I’m beyond impressed. It’s hard to find a shop you can truly trust, but this is it! My son will be bringing his vehicle here from now on and from a mama out of state, I will be recommending them to everyone I know who lives in Garden!!”
