“We’ve got 2 tanks, one for the house and one for the shop. We got our automatic fill for the house right before the arctic blast. Hadn’t had the shop tank filled in 6 years and had it on will call. I’ve been spending a lot more time in the shop since I retired and finally ran the tank out. I tried to request service online but since the tank was reading 0%, I had to call. It was an automated call which actually worked great. In less than an hour the driver was at the house. Since I let the tank drop to 0% it had to be tested, which Dallas (the driver) did. He also tested all of the joints in the shop to make sure we had no leaks, as we were smelling propane. Turns out that can happen with a very low tank as there is insufficient pressure to seal the valves! I won’t let it run out again.”
