Hotels
Hours: Avid Hotel Hays, an IHG Hotel, is a brand new establishment that offers a convenient location with everything nearby. Guests appreciate the cleanliness of the rooms, which, although small, are comfortable and equipped with necessary amenities. The breakfast is decent, and the staff is attentive, ensuring that breakfast items are replenished promptly. The hotel features a fitness center and a water bottle filler with still and sparkling water, along with a coffee station. However, some guests have reported issues that need attention. The fitness studio's air conditioning was not functional during one visit, leading to discomfort. There have also been complaints about maintenance concerns, such as loose bathroom tiles and missing chunks from room doors. Some guests experienced water leaks from air conditioning units and musty odors in their rooms, though they were moved to better accommodations. Noise insulation is another concern, with reports of thin walls and noise between floors. Overall, guests enjoy their stays at Avid Hotel Hays, citing friendly service and a modern atmosphere, but they hope for improvements in maintenance and noise control to enhance future visits.
