1016 East 8th Street, HaysOur husky got sick. Dr mark did everything he could while respecting our wishes. There were no dumb questions. He was respectful, understanding, patient, and very gentle. He explained serious conditions in ways we understood. He never once made us feel judged for any decisions that were made. He was on call when our beloved passed, still he saw us as soon as he could. They were closed on a Sunday and he made a point to make sure we got taken care of. Dr mark, thank you. Blink is in a better place, but you're still taking care of loved ones.

The food while good size portions was not very flavorful. There is nothing wrong with it it just could have used some seasoning salt or salt in general. My kids said the mac and cheese was 10 out of 10.

Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom
383 Mopar Drive, HaysJust like most of this Old Chicago’s patrons we just stopped for dinner while traveling through Hays on our way back to NW Arkansas. (It’s a nice half-way point to Vail, CO btw) The service was outstanding. Our server, Beth, was warm, welcoming, helpful, and proactive. She handled a nearby table’s incessant requests with grace and the upmost hospitable manner. She mentioned it was her first night - could’ve fooled me! We unfortunately had to return one thing but it was perfect t the second time around (the hand tossed pizza is fire but if you order heavy wet toppings it may not cook very crispy). The manager came out and was very helpful and just as Midwest nice as he could be. We will very likely make this a recurring pit stop on our westward travels. Great job, Hays Team!
