“I came to the Garage after another shop nearby that I had been going to for 15 years did not do the basic inspection on the battery (lots of corrosion) during a recent oil change causing me to need to call AAA. After this incident I was concerned what else could be an issue because I transport my 87 year old mother around.
I asked the Garage to perform an over all inspection as well as an inspection of the starting/charging systems. They found even though AAA replaced the battery there was still a great deal of corrosion on the terminals. They provided a thorough analysis of all systems and let me know of things that need attention. I love the idea of supporting a family business. They are fairly priced and I look forward to doing business with them for a long time!”

“I had headlight restoration, interior cleaning and engine cleaning on my 2006 Tacoma. The work was excellent, especially on the headlights which were completely clouded over and came out clear.”
“Would give them 5 stars but they rush people in so close to each other if a car were to come off track or something then there would be a pile up space cars out a little further so 1. There's less chance of vechiles banging into each other and 2. You can make sure you're getting the right wash you paid for”

“A membership here is a must have! We have the mvp package and I love it. I can wash my truck everyday if I want to and the free vacuums are a great addition. The staff is helpful and do what they can to make sure you are in and out in a timely manner.”
“It was fine. A little beat up, a little dirty, but not very many options for self service car washes. It was on a busy enough street corner that I did not feel unsafe washing my car there alone. Make sure to always tug on the card reader to watch out for swimmers, there is no tap to pay here.”
“We noticed that the brushes seldom get the back of the vehicle. Today we went through twice in a row and it did not get the back of our vehicle either time. The ridge and maple location does most of the time for reference.
Otherwise no complaints.”
“Joes car wash is and always has been the best. If you care for your car and don't want brushes scrubbing swirls into your paint, this is the place. I would never trust a drive thru with brushes to clean my car. They give personal service and I have never been disappointed.”

“This place is great for a quick wash or full cleaning. Water pressure seems very adequate and always happy with the results. Only criticism is I wish the rotating arms in the ceiling were longer to help prevent the hoses from slapping against my pickup.”

This place doesn't look like much, but it will get your ride clean and do so for less than most other car washes. If this spot is close to home or you travel through this area regularly then this car wash is worth the stop.
Works real well, got my Ford Super Dirty real clean. Older car wash but seems to be well maintained. Sould bring cash or coins as the time limit is real short when paying with a card.”

“It would be 5 stars if the touchless car wash wasn't broken down fairly often (this seems to be improving recently so I'm updating my review on 10/4/25). The air dry is set too short on timing permitted for the overall cost per wash, and it needs to be aimed at the vehicles from top to bottom, front to back, for low profile cars - not just for other sizes such as SUV's or trucks. Still, so far the best option compared to using a different one in this area that will damage my paint job and ceramic coating when I can't just hand wash it myself. There are several competitive companies who have come to Derby, but theirs all generally don't have a touchless, automatic washing available, and many people here don't want to get out and use hand spraying wash bays. I'll remain a customer at Panther Car Wash until a competitor discovers the need for touchless, automatic washes is higher in Derby than many other surrounding areas. ***HINT to the other carwash owners or entrepreneurs considering Derby for its market: the local residents generally have nicer vehicles (and many people get specialized paint jobs, ceramic coating, etc) due to higher income levels in this city - install those options for touchless, automated washes at your business sites. You'll rapidly get more than your investment back in business sales and may choose to install a few more.***”

“Needed, wanted to go to a manual car wash place and this place did the job. I got my work truck washed, the bed cleaned up a bit of dirt and the tires and the underside near the tires washed off pretty well. It seemed fine to me. Owner there seemed nice. Let me use his restroom. Change machines worked. I don't think the card readers are working at the stalls though. I don't like going to the automatic (often quite expensive) car washes, would rather do it myself.”
“Had an awesome experience at Tommy’s Car Wash. The staff was super friendly, professional, and actually took the time to make sure everything looked perfect. My car came out looking spotless inside and out. Big shoutout to Gabbi for always working hard and keeping the quality top tier.
