It was here that G.E. Waters moved his original store from Manchester, Kansas in 1905. Because of that history, a lot of our company growth has happened in Junction City. Our original building on 8th and Washington moved and expanded to a full-service store (and the only Waters Hardware store to offer a lumberyard!) on 6th Street. However, our real growth has come from the solid relationships we’ve been fortunate enough to build with the Junction City and Fort Riley communities over the last 126 years.
