About Flagship Books
Flagship Books is a cute little bookstore and the best in KC in some opinions. The shop itself is open, bright, spacious, and a comfortable space that fits well with the local arts community vibe. It does not have a huge selection, but it is well curated with solid choices and a great range of books. This includes a good selection of gently used and new books, local authors' works, and other books not just full of pop-fiction. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, happy to order books they don't have in stock or work with you to track down copies. They typically host events throughout the week like book discussions, readings, and the Big Open Book Club, which is an awesome event. There is plenty of street parking nearby.

The best bookstore in KC in my opinion. You don’t need a huge selection when it’s well curated! I really appreciate that it’s not just full of pop-fiction.

A cute little bookstore. Plenty of street parking nearby. Not a huge selection, but what they do have are solid choices. They have a good selection of used books, too!
