“To say this shop is great would be the understatement of the millennium. Exceptional selection of games and tabletop gaming accessories, very helpful and friendly staff and tons of events all nestled in the perfect location in the heart of the City Market.

The atmosphere is always comfortable and welcoming to all and if the world was run like LevelOne, it would be a much better place.”

“Went there for some info as well as to look around to see what was available, I was greeted when I walked in and then was left alone while I walked around looking. They gave me a little time to look and then approached me asking if I needed some help and then I started asking questions about brands and the best way to go. I have had experience with RC cars from the 80's but things have changed, I kind of picked their brains and they were very polite and helpful which i appreciated. I spent more than I planned but I think they steered me right and in the long run I am better off. I was going to purchase what they said was a good deal until I looked on the top shelf and started to ask about them and the first words out of their mouth was about how fast they could go and that ended it right there. I think this will give me something to occupy my time and have some fun while I am doing it, I have access to a very large parking lot that has grassy areas all around it. Will I go Back, will I recommend them? definitely will, good people that want to help.”

“Love Geekery! They have a good selection of things for games, great selection if you play WH (I do not but there is lots there) and a ton of paint. They have a great racks of Vallejo, Army Painter, and Citadel paints. Amazing selection if you are looking for contrast paints. There is also a large selection of hobby supplies.

Big bonus is that The Geekery has an amazing gaming space! There are LOTS of tables, many very large and they are free to use. You can also bring in your own food and drink too! However, if you don't, snacks (and small food selection) are wonderfully priced.

You will not be disappointed with Geekery!”

“Ideal for anyone who is interested in comics, but is quite new to comics, like myself.

For a newbie to comics, this was a perfect launching point. It is welcoming, and doesn't feel overwhelming, while still chock full of organized stuff. Catherine (sp?) was quite kind to me, and patient as I bumbled through what I was looking for. I really wanted comics depicting Echo, as I had recently become interested in this character who is living with special needs. The staff knew exactly which comics I would need. When some weren't available, Catherine used some great problem solving and got more of what I wanted, and put in a quick order for the rest.

I plan to return often, and recommend any newer, or nervous comic book persons to start here too.

Also, this would be an ideal place for someone who doesn't know much about comics who is wanting to buy a comic for a comic book lover in their life.”

“This is my favorite kc quilting supply store????. They repair/service Pfaff machines (I have 2), and sell Pfaff accessories. They also have a good selection of gorgeous batiks, which are my favorite cottons. It doesn’t hurt that they’re located in a cluster of cute shops. ? I love shopping here. They’re the best in my book!”

“Very nice place! There are model trains for sale, but also a large selection of tracks, wheels, and other accessories with those things! They also sell shirts, signs, CDs, and other railroad memorabilia. The owner, Doc, is very friendly. If you're a model railroader, or a railfan in general, I recommend stopping by!”

“I took my daughter to have a special autographed poster framed. Xander and Bridget were a delight to work with in selecting a mat and frame. They were warm but also professional, gave great input, and genuinely connected with my teen, receiving no side-eye whatsoever. (If you’ve spent any time with teen girls, you know how rare this is.)

I’m pretty sure her new life goal is to work in custom framing at Michaels.”

“Lots of antique and not so antique dolls, doll clothes, paper dolls. I dropped off two Toni dolls for repairs, so I can't evaluate the doll repair services until I get them back. Only critique is that it's a small space and crowded in there. Maybe 5-10 people could shop in there at a time and would probably still be in each other's way at that.”
