I called to schedule an eye exam. The person who I spoke with wasn't interested in scheduling. They simply said that appointments are a month out, "are you sure you want to book?"No, I'll take my business elsewhere. thanks

I had a great experience, at the Ward Parkway eye center. The representative was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and exceptionally in taking care of your needs in a timely manner.

I have been using the Ward Parkway, LensCrafters since 2012 when I moved back to Kansas City. I have always had excellent service and found it affordable. However, I am not comfortable with remote eye exams and I had an appointment for early December which was canceled and they were unable to make another appointment because they didn’t know what they would have Examiner or what so anyway. So anyway I went to Alpha Pointe for my exam and got a prescription because they don’t do the hardware and I took it to LensCrafters at Ward Parkway hello Parkway yesterday and discovered that there was only one employee there that they were downsized. Anyhow, he was very very helpful and competent and fortunately there were no other customers until just before I left when two people came in but they were together OK. So got my glasses ordered And will be able to pick them up about two weeks maybe sooner but with the Christmas holiday in the way, probably not. I strongly suggest that when you rest the store to its full compliment that you consider promoting Benji, who was extremely helpful to manager or assistant manager thank you goodbye

I have 4 new pairs of glasses and no excuse for not wearing them. The 2 for $99 made a huge difference!

This place is a joke. One hour before my appointment they call to cancel my appointment, says they have no docter. It’s all bad. Better find something else.

I've been waiting for almost a month on frames. Spent overs almost $700, and I can't get anyone to answer the phone. Bought two pairs of glasses. The first one came back looking nothing like the ones that I selected. The replacement pair had the wrong prescription, and the first frames selected haven't even come in although I was told they would be here by now. This is the last time I do business with Visionworks.

Be aware that this is what you would call a "barebones operation". They only have 2 employees-someone up front and someone doing pre-exam tests.Arrived for my appt and the only worker upfront checked me in. Then Christina called me back and started going through the testing. She was very nice. I thought it was unusual they were doing so many tests that I hadn't gone through before. About halfway through, Christina mentioned that she was telehealth. At that point I discovered that there was not an actual optometrist at this location; it would be done remotely. Nowhere was this mentioned. If I lived on a farm in western Kansas I would have been thrilled at this option, but I live in a major city. So Christina finished and then someone came on the screen. Then the optometrist came on. I didn't have any issues with them, I just didn't care for the process at all.I ordered my new glasses, which came within about 10 days. So I went to the store to pick them up and the same woman that was there for my appointment hands me a case within a cloth bag. I have to dig them out and put them on. She did not really look at them on me anything. Just "here you go". After 2 weeks, it was obvious they were not OK as they had rubbed sore spots on my nose. So I went back and the same lone woman was there. First, someone was settling up their bill, which took 6 or 7 minutes. Then, the next person was there for their appointment. There was obviously some kind of problem as she had to go to the back and then came back and said not to worry, they would make sure they were seen. Another 6 or 7 minutes. Then my turn. I explained the problem and she told me there was not anything they could do other than "loosen them" as they were "sitting correctly" on my face and that they just recommended choosing a new pair. I explained that my insurance covered everything and frames up to $200 but the ones I chose were only $160. She said that was too bad; I could only choose up to $160 or pay the difference, I said I would prefer to try them "loosened" and try for a few days to see if that made a difference. In the meantime, several other people had come into the store; one for an appointment, a couple for repairs. Finally, she looks at me and goes, "I'm not going to have time to get to these. You can leave them and come back if you want". I'm supposed to leave my glasses, which I can't drive without, and come back some other time to pick them up? It was definitely one of the most ridiculous things anyone has ever said to me. I just took them and left. I was there about 30 minutes total. Since I used up my insurance for this calendar year on this visit, I'm kind of stuck unless I want to pay out of pocket somewhere else. So I will go back another day and just pick out a new pair of "not more than $160" glasses, which is apparently easier than trying to adjust the nose pads or whatever.I don't blame the worker; she did have too much to do and she obviously was best used at checking people in, etc. This location used to have 2 or 3 people working up front whenever I was there before.

Not impressed. They remade my glasses and are worse than the first pair. Also, the selection of glasses is horrible…

Was able to book online and get in really quickly. Was the last appt of the day and the doctor that was supposed to see me actually left during my pre-test exams. Christine was able to call around and get another doctor to finish my appt so I didn’t have to come back. Very much appreciate that! Thanks Christine and Dr. Chun!

Stopped in today and was helped by Christine, who offered 5-star customer service! She was patient, kind, and very helpful. I also observed her interactions with other patients and was very impressed. Keep up the great work, Christine!

Thank you for making the experience swift and painless. While all the staff was super sweet and helpful, one team member stuck out amounts the rest; Christine.Thank you Christine for taking the time with me and helping me through a moment of emotions.I was having a rough day before arriving at my appointment. And when I reached the second half of the eye exam I was emotional and irritable. (Not because of vision works or their staff)Christine was helpful and went above and beyond with a short pick me up conversation; and I left with a smile on my face rather than the frown I showed up with. For us being complete strangers at the beginning of the experience, to hugs and smiles concluding; I could not be more pleased that I chose Visionworks at Wardpark mall as my eye care provider.
