“I previously left a review of this place 4 years ago but since then I have had nothing but positive interactions and that’s all thanks to the change they made in the manager Marvin. Since Marvin has taken over the Lawrence location we have had nothing but a great experience here. The previous manager was rude and extremely aggressive and not the slightest bit customer focused. He didn’t care about anything but himself. Marvin is the complete opposite. Marvin probably needs to run all of the rent a centers easy going pleasure to work with and makes logical decisions and knows how to speak to customers. All around Marvin is the MVP of rent a center and should 100% be the district manager of these spots.”

“Had it not been for the store manager Tyler Sally, and two other associates, Zoe and Damone I might not have ever ventured back into this store again. I have been a customer of Best Buy for many years, to this day many of my home devices, stoves, etc. have come from Best Buy. We were the victims of a tv that was absconded or “lost” somewhere in next day delivery after purchasing it at the store in Lawrence. I wont go in to the long story, the many phone calls, the lies that were told to us by the 1800 numbers we had to call over and over and over….. After going into the store and working directly with Tyler he was able to ascertain not only our confidence that Besbuy actually did hire good employees but was able to realize a solution that no one on the 1800 side could or would. I literally had a form downloaded to file a complaint with the attorney general. Best Buy- you shouldn’t let things get that far and you need to go back to real Best Buy employees helping people- Ive heard so many complaints now having gone through this. If I shop at Best Buy now it will only be due to Tyler going out of the way and looking us in the eye and said you wont leave here with out me making sure this is taken care of. Thank you Tyler you get the 5 stars. Best Buy you get 3 stars- you have good merchandise for our community but you have chosen the wrong route for customer service help.”
