If they say 15 minutes expect 55. When trying to deposit a check they will remind you about online banking. 2 tellers stand around while 6 people wait to see 1 banker for basic services. These is why everyone is leaving BofA for any other bank.

Seriously messed up parking lot. Also..it's sad that one of the biggest banks in America charges $8.00 to cash a check for a small amount if you don't have an account.. even though the check was written by someone who does have an account. Who most likely pays a fee to have an account. I expected a fee because I don't have an account but that seems a bit much. Glad I don't bank here and will not be cashing checks here. I'm giving it 2 ⭐ only because at least it's clean and pretty.

I had drive here from Manhattan area to unlock my account due to unauthorized login into my account. I looked at Google review for this branch location it wasn't stellar. From my experience it was top notch. Staff and agent that assist me was friendly, professional and understanding. Got my account taken care off with in 20 minutes.

Worst experience at a bank I've ever had. They accepted my power of attorney documents, but would not give me online access to my parents' account. How am I supposed to help my parents without online access? So they're charging me $30 every time I make a transfer to an external bank. Stupid. And ridiculous! I'm shutting the account.

Do not bank with them. Once you open an account with Bank of America, they will close your account after a certain amount of time without even telling you. I recently created an account online and had already updated my direct deposit with my new account and routing information and then couldn’t access my funds a week later because my account closed without my knowledge. This was a horrible experience and would not recommend them to anyone. This location didn’t have enough representatives to even try and help me in the moment, so I decided not to waste my time and will not be going back. Now, I have to wait a whole week for a paper check in the mail and can’t access my funds until then. Please save your time and go somewhere else. Very disappointment with the service and system at Bank of America.

Horrible branch. The only walk in one in Lawrence. Same teller twice messed up my checking account balance. I wanted to speak to a Mgr. They are never around 3rd time I went in to discuss my account. They put tellers in managers office so you think it's a manager. Been long time customer. Got disgusted after 30 mins when the idiot said. So you want me to close your account. No! Went in next day with letter for a manager just to drop it off and leave. Woman Mgr comes out of back somewhere. Wouldn't listen to me. Then called police in me! Dirty witch!

I don't understand the purpose of having a number because you can't get through to any branch representatives - I've not only called the local branch, several times I might add to calling outside the local area to no avail. It's ridiculous.

I chose this bank because I live in Lawrence and drive to Topeka for work and the hours allowed me to get to it in plenty of time after work. They changed their hours, so I figured out how to miss the worst of traffic on 9th and Iowa to get there 10 minutes before closing. I am missing my card since Saturday night so I can't get cash and was still directed to the ATM. Then they told me there were no tellers and I'd have to come back tomorrow. I really hope gas stations take checks because I need to get gas before going to work. As soon as Saturday hits I'm going to bank that can function during operating hours. I wish they had a sign this summer saying they were going to change their time and then not operate to closing time. It would have been easy to miss this joke called a bank.

Disappointed with service at this place every time we come in and after reading other reviews, seems like a lot of people have bad experiences as well. Instead of referring customers to your ”social media,” Actually do something to fix their banking issues.

Went to this bank to provide information they requested. Had a long wait and they provided documents for us to sign. The document had some questionable wordage and referenced another document. I was told the document in question was the one I was provided, it clearly was not. I believed the lady 99.9 %, but wanted to see the document in question. After several minutes of arguments and denial of the existence of document in question. I told her we would come back when I had time to do research. She said I could not leave that I had to sign. The bank has my money so that is a very threatening statement. We argued more I will admit I was rude too, we both raised our voices. She stopped off and came back a few minutes later with the document that she claimed did not exist and her manger. It proved what she was saying so at least she was not dishonest. I don't know why they did not want us to be 100 certain of what we were signing. Proceed with caution. Your time means nothing to them and the use pressure tactics to get you to sign documents with out explaination

I love coming into this BOFA branch! They’re usually very busy but I’m always greeted and helped promptly. If I ever have an issue they always find a solution for me. Justin has been the one to usually help me and he always remembers me by name. He is a great Asset to the branch. Thanks for all you do in making my banking easy! :)
