Dollar General is generally a good store with helpful and friendly employees. It offers a lot of variety, from groceries and fresh fruit to brooms and auto products. The store is well laid out, typically has more items in stock than other places, and features great sales with lower everyday prices. Organization has improved significantly, making shopping easier. However, some customers note issues with prices not matching the product at the register. Additionally, while self-checkout is available, it is often closed during the busiest evening shopping times, which can be inconvenient.
Generally a good store with helpful employees, but I do wonder why they put in a self check out when they close it down every evening at the busiest shopping time.

The employees are very helpful and friendly and they have a lot of variety of things from groceries to brooms to bath accessories to auto products.

More items in stock than anywhere I've been lately. Great sales and lower everyday prices than you would expect, plus the store is well laid out without huge lines and waits at the registers!
