Goodwill Lawrence is a clean and well-set-up store that supports local job programs. Reviews note it plays great music and can be a delightful place to find items. However, many customers feel things are overpriced, citing high costs for items like blouses and noting prices are so-so, with some things very overpriced. Several visitors reported negative experiences with staff and other customers, mentioning rude encounters at the checkout and with people cutting in line. A common frustration is that the dressing rooms remain closed, a policy from Covid that has not been reopened. While some are not impressed and had a strike out visit, others believe it is worth going back and visiting again. The store's mission to empower local job seekers through shopping and donations is highlighted.

I'm often surprised how high clothing is marked. On my recent visit, I found a suit jacket that I really liked, until I noticed a burn hole in three front.

Unfortunately, I have not had positive experiences at this location, whether donating or shopping. The fitting rooms are frequently closed, and the level of customer service provided by employees has been less than friendly.
