Poor customer service, manager has a attitude and likes to talk to you like you're ignorant. Lost my business.

Don’t even bother making an adoption appointment. The person “in charge” of that won’t even bother because they’re “too busy” and then when you make an appointment you’ll come in to find out he adopted the cat out anyway. What a joke

I understand the concept of making sure the customer has a proper set up before purchasing their new pet. However, your employees need too be trained on how too properly ask the correct questions instead of making the customer feel like they have too pass some test before making their purchase. I have been keeping fish of different types for 20 years. Have kept everything from 5 gal shrimp tanks to 800 gal koi ponds. I may not be a huge chain store, but I do know a little about fish and their needs. When selling an animal, go ahead and make it part of your speech too make sure the customer is informed of the needs of that particular animal. Some of the customers do not know what they are getting into when choosing what too purchase. Nothing wrong with informing people. DONT ask people 20 questions about their personal life and set ups. It is not your business. Your job is too inform and help the customer. I was waiting for the manager too ask me next what my blood type was for God's sake. I have personally helped with vet care for your chain, and I can honestly say that I have seen some issues with several of your animals that were caused completely by husbandry and diet issues. A couple of them I took home too nurse back too health simply due too the wrong habitats they were kept in at your store chains. So before you go and make your customers feel like they are not good enough too purchase a fish or other animal, you might want too check how you are doing things yourself. I see other reviews for the Petsmart on 6th street mentioning how customers were asked 20 questions then refused too be sold too. So this must be a corporate policy. Maybe think about softening how your employees are coming off or chances are you will be loosing alot of customers. FyI, the Angels I purchased are doing great in their new tank. The tank that I, the customer, knew was large enough for them. Along with the tank mates that I knew would be compatible with them. Along with the correct decor at which levels that I knew would work well with their fins. It all could have been avoided by simply explaining too me that an angel was a cichlid, and do better with this size of tank at full size and these perimeters.

Walk-in for nail trims and was over the moon pleased. Yoshi is amazing and kind and loving to animals. My dogs hate getting their feet touched but Yoshi was able to get the job done.
Thank you Yoshi for being amazing at your job and taking the time to work with my dogs.

Well, the plants are surprisingly great, and the employees have been lovely, so kudos to them. BUT THE FISH!! Well, the bettas. They look very pale and sickly. This is to be expected when you keep them in cups, but I have seen healthy looking Bettas in these stores before. The employees seem sweet and knowledgeable, so I can only assume this is a management/store issue. Many bettas here seem to have short raggedy fins and some sort of ammonia burns. Very sad. ?

The grooming department is a freaking joke! It seems they don’t want to work as they refuse to groom my dog for “company policy” even tho I clearly stated he gets car sick, but they refused to do the service for excessive “panting and drooling”. Even tho a lady was grooming another dog that was panting as well. They had no problem last time so it’s so weird that they groomed him last time but not this last appointment?!? Totally a waste of my time and gas. I would give it negative stars if I could but they need to retrain their staff with better customer service skills because it’s definitely lacking there! So needless to say don’t go here it’s a joke, save your money and time and find a better groomer!
