“Ran in today to get some brats, some Italian sausage, and whatever else looked fun so I could throw it on the grill over a fire pit. Got into a discussion with the owner about the Sheboygan brats and how, after he'd tried them, he'd decided never to make them any other way. High expectations, right? So I just tried them and these were, without hesitation, THE BEST BRATS I have ever had. I've tried several other sausages both at home and in store and they're all wonderful. Worth the drive and the money, no question.”

“Never had any issues here. Entrance gate opens at 06:30 unloading starts at 07:00. Pick any available door. A little bit tight if docks are busy. Interior docks. Take your time and you’ll be fine”

“Granted the two times I was in there most recently was right before Thanksgiving and then again before Christmas. I ordered online ahead of time and the staff moved me through very quickly during these very busy periods and every time they had a smile on their face. Not so easy when it gets that busy but they were great. That and the food is always exceptional!”

“McGonigles is no more - this new store in it's place looks pretty good. However they do not have the pre-order roasts and seafood for the holidays that McGonigles had. Heard Mr. McGonigle retired and no one wanted to continue, so he sold to the new company. Going to miss them!”

“I thought my only choices to get travel vaccines were a very expensive clinic that doesn't take insurance and my county health department which was out of the vaccine I needed. Then I found Hen House Travel clinics. They discussed what I needed, had the yellow fever vaccine I needed and ran it through my insurance saving us hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend these guys.”

“The brisket sandwich was incredible, the ribs were perfectly smoky and the meat fell off the bones. The prices are more than fair. I would compare the style to Porky's, south of Grain Valley, or an older place like LCs. They use "Blue Hog" for their sweet sauce and a local supplier for the spicy (It just had a name tag that started with "KC's" and I couldn't read the rest) Functionally, you get your food from a trailer outside, next to the smoker, but it's essentially an extension of their deli, since you order at the store register.”

“This place has the best sausages hands down in the city. The ribs are so much better than Gates or Jack Stack at half the price. The only place in town I go for smoked meats. Try the jalapeño cheddarwürst and beef hotdogs. You never had it this good!”
