“I would often to go to Peter May's when I lived up the street at the old seminary (St. Paul). Phyllis was the best. She treated me like family. I sure miss her and the restaurant. May God bless you!”
“Another favorite in the city. Old style Italian Deli with anything you could want. Best cold deli sandwich in KC.I usually get the #2 because i like mortadella, but they are all amazing.A must go to place if you are in the river market area.”

2620 Independence Ave, Kansas City“Enjoy shopping here so far been to at least 3 location not a bad experience, wish had more ppl that could help you when looking for products. Overall my new shopping for grocery in my neighborhood.”
“Charles the yard driver is a super nice and helpful guy. A genuinely positive guy that we wish every yard driver was like. It would be 5 stars but unless you can find the yard driver good luck getting your paper work. I waited outside where they put the papers (wooden shack) but nothing, rang the bell at the front door, no response, called the number a few times, no answer. Drop and hook took an hour. Without Charles lord knows how long it would have took. Give that man a raise!”
“McGonigles is no more - this new store in it's place looks pretty good. However they do not have the pre-order roasts and seafood for the holidays that McGonigles had. Heard Mr. McGonigle retired and no one wanted to continue, so he sold to the new company. Going to miss them!”
9:30AM - 6:30PM
6005 NW Barry Rd, Kansas City“Great food and service was good. It was first time there and I was trying to figure out my lunch quickly. They offered Mac and Cheese as a side and it seemed like it was no charge. But when I got the bill, it was like a $4 upcharge. That was a bummer. And the drink was small. I should have done just the sandwich. It is really good - little expensive but worth it in my opinion. Just avoid the combos. Drink isn't anywhere near worth it and sides are upcharged unless you just want chips.”
“The brisket sandwich was incredible, the ribs were perfectly smoky and the meat fell off the bones. The prices are more than fair. I would compare the style to Porky's, south of Grain Valley, or an older place like LCs. They use "Blue Hog" for their sweet sauce and a local supplier for the spicy (It just had a name tag that started with "KC's" and I couldn't read the rest) Functionally, you get your food from a trailer outside, next to the smoker, but it's essentially an extension of their deli, since you order at the store register.”
“I visited Kansas City last 2 weeks. My choose was price chopper .Excellent offers , very clean , a little more expensive price that in Houston tx .Barbara cashier shows great displeasure in her face . What a shame to end this like .Tk Tk like this business”
“I made the drive from KCK specifically for their lobster roll special last week. It was well worth the trip! It was a generous portion of lightly dressed, fresh, sweet lobster on a warm, soft roll. I devoured it in my car right after picking it up. I had no shame haha. I grabbed some ground beef and chicken thighs from the freezer too. It wasn’t my first visit and it won’t be my last!”
