“The most knowledgeable employees work at Pet People aka Hollywood Feed. Shane is my go to guy, he behaves as an owner would. He is a wealth of knowledge! I always seek nutrition advice for my dogs from him. He never steers me wrong. I’ve been shopping at the Prairie Village, Kansas location for years and have continued because of him. Recently, when Shane isn’t there or helping someone else, Dana has helped me and is also extremely knowledgeable and personable.
We will be moving out of state soon and I’m hoping to find employees like them at the next store, they’re a hard act to follow.”
“The people at Paw Envy never fail to amaze me. They are always so kind and settle my nerves. One of my dogs is very reactive and so outings are very difficult for him and stressful for me. He desperately needed a groom and i warned them he’s loud and has separation anxiety, I apologized and crossed my fingers he would do well. They told me to give them 3-4 hours which is to be expected, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got a text about an hour and a half after dropping him off saying he was ready to be picked up. When i went to pick him up he was brought up front promptly and looked amazing! He typically whines and shakes in the car after any grooming and he was a happy content boy today so I know he was well taken care of. The joke was made if I hadn’t picked him up he was going to go home with the groomer today, I’m so happy they got to see his cute personality and love him like I do. Truly grateful for them as having a reactive dog is a challenge and can feel very defeating at times but they made it very easy. I will definitely be back for regular maintenance grooming. Spirit and I say thank you??”

“I have an 8 1/2 month old Doberman puppy who has never been bathed professionally and won’t let me trim her nails so I wasn’t sure how the experience was going be. However, it went really well and she’s nice and clean, and her nails are trimmed. I will take her back again. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating and friendly and Finn really liked them.”

“I’m really pleased with our Gou Gou Pets products! They gifted me some allergy shampoo and first-aid ointment for my dog who was struggling with environmental allergies. Her ear tips would dry out, chap, and break open. Using this ointment once a day has helped them stay moisturized and we didn’t have one incident of them opening this spring. My dog who got skin scabs last year due to allergies did not get any this year when I kept up on baths with the allergy shampoo! I am super impressed by how well these worked!”

“We have used four paws spa for several years now. We used the self service bath option for a while and recently switched to the bathing service. One of my dogs is very nervous with baths and blow drying and Tammy takes such good care of her. She pays attention to her behavior and communication and I have no worries when she’s in her hands! They only kennel if absolutely necessary which I greatly appreciate. Their pricing is so affordable, too! We recut started doing the deshed treatment for my short haired Shepard mix. And I was blown away with how well it worked. And now I’ll never go back haha. It lasted for almost 3 months! You can just tell the group cares about your dogs as much as you do and it gives you such peace of mind as a dog owner. Highly HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot here if you haven’t!”

“I have been using their collars since 2005!! Love the collars so much.♥️ Some do not like to get so close to bully breeds. Luckily, only once did someone call. Annie jumped out of the vehicle at Costco. We got the call immediately and got our baby from the person who called. Those tiny tiny tiny tags are unreadable because of the size. If you know anything about dogs, last thing you do is put your face near a dog you do not know!”

“We are so happy we found puppy’s playpen for grooming! We have tried a couple places and this spot did the best with the teddy bear haircut. Our groomer was Jessica and she was INCREDIBLE! She groomed our goldendoodle exactly how we wanted it and love how fluffy he was after grooming.
We asked for 1/2 inch all around and rounded face with short rounded ears!
I love that they have options for grooming during the weekends because it is the only time we can drop our dog off ?

“Bri is hands down the best groomer we’ve ever had, and I honestly wouldn’t trust my dogs with anyone else.
I have two very different dogs—a White German Shepherd with a very high-maintenance coat and a long-haired Dachshund who can be nervous about grooming. Neither of them loves every part of the grooming process, so they both need someone with a lot of patience, kindness, and understanding. Bri has all of those qualities and more.
The biggest compliment I can give is this: my dogs absolutely adore her. The second we pull up, they drag me to the door because they’re so excited to see her. They greet her like she’s family and happily go back with her without hesitation. As a dog trainer, I know that kind of enthusiasm can’t be faked—it comes from consistently being treated with patience, respect, and genuine care.
My Shepherd always comes home with the most gorgeous, bright white coat, and anyone with a white Shepherd knows how much work goes into keeping them looking that clean. My Dachshund always looks absolutely beautiful, too, and I know Bri takes the time to make sure she’s comfortable throughout the process.
Bri is not only incredibly talented at what she does, but she’s also one of the kindest people you’ll meet. She treats both me and my dogs with so much care, and it shows every single visit. I truly can’t recommend her enough, and we won’t be going anywhere else.”

“Another quick to get to store. We live in the Dotte but found ourselves in this area for dinner. We cut it too close to get to the one by our house before closing,so we just ran in to this one real quick.
Staff seemed friendly. There was a puppy training session going on while we were there. Everyone looked like things were going well.
It took us a minute to find our Staffy's brand of food. The stores are never set up exactly the same. Actually took us twice of walking all the dog isles before we found her food. It was in stock, as were her food toppers. As an added treat, this store had her neopolitan cookies in stock so we grabbed a bag before hitting the register.
Only negative is our dog is too picky & bougie but we still got out of there for less than anticipated.”
