“Visited Donna’s Dress Shop for the first time today with my daughter, who was on the hunt for a vintage prom dress. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, asking questions about what we were looking for in particular and took the time to show us some options around the store that might interest my daughter. They had a wide variety of clothing and some really fun options. You can tell their buyers have a real flair for style. Even though we left without purchasing, the experience there was definitely worth a 5-star review and we will definitely be back.”
“The main manager of this location was at the other location for a hot while, his work and ability to manage people is obvious. Please keep your good employees around if you can, we appriciate them and all they do. Mission Turnstyles is my favorite thriftsore. Best in the area for price. Far better than savers these days”
“I recently stopped in Story Botique when I was in town from Omaha. It is by far the classiest thrift store I have ever been in. It is spotlessly clean, prices are easy to find, and staff are friendly but not pushy.Story Botique is a little hard to find if you aren't familiar with this strip mall. Head for the north end of the mall towards the Catholic school. It is on the backside.”
“We have used this tailor for numerous repairs (and for wedding dress advice). She does great work at very reasonable prices. It's why we keep coming back. And will honestly tell me if a repair isn't worth doing. Highly recommend!!”

A throwback KU basketball jersey from the 1988 national championship year with a championship patch on it and everything. 2 Peter Millar pullovers for 1/3 of the price that you will typically see online. I will be coming back here first before shopping for any expensive clothing in the future. Great deals and great stuff!”
“Having frequented the store over the past year it feels as if the store is turning a new leaf.
I never expect much when going into a Salvation Army thrift store it’s just another thrift store and I held that sentiment for a long time but in the last several months I’ve noticed the store go in a new direction that gives me hope it can be better I believe they got a new younger manager and you can tell they’re putting in work.
The store is organized the staff is motivated and energized and super friendly welcomed in every time it’s truly a night and day difference

“I am a frequent shopper here and there was an incident tonight of a customer being very upset and unhinged to the staff until I stepped in, she CUSSING at them about political views WHILE CHILDREN were in the store. She said she was going to leave a fake review about bedbugs, and I came on here to check and sure enough she did. The ladies who work here are such sweethearts and were just in shock of this lady yelling at them. I feel bad for the workers, but I can promise the review left by Allison Frankovic is not true.”

The store is huge with savings - the system might be confusing and old but best assure the staff are trying to help with any kind of discount. The color code tags is a old system with their massive inventory that should be reviewed over, the prices have maybe gone up $1-2 but its far better pricing than the Goodville(No longer a “thrift” but modern ebay shop center ?)
Furniture and anything before 2010 can be sure its here somewhere. Thanks again to the kind staff I could only wish to work here if I was closer. Btw my dresspants and shirt fit greatly - THANK YOU FOR HAVING A FITTING ROOM HERE!!! Please dont remove it like at the sister salvation army!”
“Store was well organized and had a color of the day that was 50% off. I was pleasantly surprised to find items with that color. Unlike other thrift stores who have a color of the week but hardly any items on the floor with that color. I gave only 4 stars because there were very expensive items. I understand the economy we live in and while there are other costs to factor in employee payments, rent, lights etc...I choose to shop second hand instead of big corporations with that being said I would shop a lot more meaning i would spend a lot more if the prices weren't so high. I recently purchased boots for 25.00 there and spent up to 100.00 at this store. I put back a lot of items because they were just too pricey. I would encourage this store to have at least 2 colors of the week that are 50% off. I go to another thrift store that has no furniture items over 25.00 and they are getting rid of most of their donations and its a plus because it isn't going into a landfill. I love to shop second hand and I have hope that one day we will go back to reasonable thrifting.”
