“I truly think Beall's should be named, " Florida Specific Department Store". There is no other department store, that I know of that consciously makes an effort to have stock totally appropriate to Florida. Their jewelry department has fine gems & gold to costume jewelry. I love statement pieces & am a Floridian through & through. I can get a dolphin watch, gold mermaid earrings or a diamond turtle necklace. So many clothes geared to our dog day hot summer days. They have clothes for all ages & sizes, that are totally on point with leisure wear for Florida. They also have a large selection of "regular clothes", athletic clothes & items, beachwear, many nautical themes, golf, tennis & about anything you would need, except for formal dresses. Thr have a great shoe selection. Various types of sneakers, dress, boots, sandals & more including flip flops from Guy Harvey & Tommy Bahama. They have a wonderful housewares department! You can decorate in your usual fashion or do your kitchen in a frog theme, a bath in lighthouse & another in dolphins. All the things well Know to Florida & the marine lifestyle & Beachy vibe are all under one roof & you don't have to search the town. This is my way of living, surrounded by things I love & designers know for Florida & beach life. I recently went to a beach wedding, where the couple loves the sand & water as much as I do, they unthinking registered at Bed, bath & beyond.... big mistake for the unique island items they wanted. They should have registered at Beall's & could have gotten anchor or dolphin sets of dishes. What's a girl to do? I know what I like & know where to get it, so I can feel comfortable in my wardrobe & surroundings.”
