It's very difficult to navigate the website. I've added an external account that's nowhere to be found when it's time to pay my bill. Chat on their website doesn't work. The Locations section of their website doesn't work. You can't click back on their website and get to the previous page, it kicks you out and you have to request a code to log back in. Trying to find a way to pay without incurring a fee is impossible. The only time you can pay with a credit card is if your payment is late and you get a message with a link and of course you're charged a late fee. As a new car loan customer this is a terrible user experience. Do not recommend.

I’m really disappointed to write this review because I’ve had amazing experiences with Meritrust for years since I opened my account. However, over the past year, banking with Meritrust has become nothing but a headache. I spent a week trying to deposit money through the E ATM, as there is no longer a drive-through, and the machine just couldn’t accuratly count the cash.
The last straw was when I finally went inside the branch. Landon was very rude and displayed awful customer service. When I asked if there would ever be a drive-through again, he told me that none of the branches have a drive-through. I mentioned that I might need to switch banks since it’s painful and inconvenient for me to come inside when my autoimmune condition flares up. His response was, “Did you try the ATM?” When I explained my issues with the machine, he stated that he had no problem using it over the weekend.
His lack of sympathy and argumentative attitude were extremely frustrating. While I might have tolerated the inconveniences of banking with Meritrust, Landon’s poor customer service made my decision to switch banks quite easy. I hope you take this feedback seriously before losing more customers.

How do i call this location? The 785 number sends me to the same call tree as the 1-800 number from the website. The call center said there's a location-by-location issue i need to bring to the front desk, but i can't take a day off work to go in person. Can i not reach this bank by phone?

They are true scamers just like any other bank. They have made a loophole that because they are on a "live system" they won't return any over drafts fees even after you make deposits. They still take your money and they will always find a way to take your money

Worst experience ever!! I went through this location to get a loan to buy a house. My closing date was May 3. Rickey was my loan officer. He kept failing to get stuff done and even lied to me at one point saying it was the title company that pushed back my closing date and got caught in his lie because I went to confirm what was said with the title company and my realtor And they both said He was The one called them and and said he needed to push back the closing date. My closing date got pushed back 4 times because of Ricky and I didn’t get closed on the house until May 21stMy bad experience didn’t end there. When it came time to pay my first house payment no one could help me figure out how to pay it. I am so done with meritrust. Never again will I ever do business with this credit union again.

Very disappointed. We did a car loan through them. Not only did they NOT close our account when it was paid off, charged us for continuing to have the account open while there was nothing due, they never sent the documentation for lien release to the proper authorities, even after our requests that they do so. Still getting the runaround so we can get the title to a car that has been paid off for over 3 years.

this place totally sucks. I don't recommend because if you were a victim of a scam they will treat you like dirt, they'll suspend your online access and your debit card and refuse to give you a new one resulting in a permanent block on your account. they'll only allow incoming transactions anything outgoing they'll decline and freeze the account. everytime i want money

One of the worst banks I have ever had. The local office refuses to help so you only talk to the call center. Took four people to answer one simple question. Anytime u have to speak to them , prepare to be irritated. The people in the local office are lazy and uneducated. System keeps messing up and they will blame you. A worker there told me they don't feel the need to tell customers when their system doesn't work.
