He's super skinny, so we've had a bear of a time finding good jeans that fit him, but Rachael had him all fixed up in no time with items that were priced competitively, yet were good quality duds and got him the look that he wanted. In addition, it's great to support a local company that has everything we want and a super friendly and helpful sales staff. Highly recommend the folks at Nigro's over some chain store.”
“I live in Texas and ordered a pair of Anderson Bean Ostrich boots online from Nigro's. I had some questions about them and everyone I talked to on the phone was very pleasant. I also had a custom request where I needed the boot straps dyed a different color. Most stores would have told me "no way," but David Nigro, Jr. was happy to dye them for me before shipping out. I got them today and they are beautiful boots, exactly as expected. I will definitely be back to buy more boots in the future!”

“I have been coming here since I was in high school. I recently got into records and have never really thought of this place as being a record store but now it's a must when thrifting vinyl. I came around a $10 Fleetwood Mac record and haven't snatched something up so fast before. I absolutely love how friendly the staff is and all the funky and beautiful art, clothing and gifts this place has. It's a one stop shop on a Saturday for me.”

I told the staff I could only afford 1 week from the time of purchase until the alterations were complete and they completed all the alterations perfectly in only 3 days and called me promptly for pickup. I got fitted for a 3-piece 1920's-style suit and a shirt, able to customize everything from the buttons to the embroidery thread, all in just over an hour and a half. All materials are top-notch. Luke was very nice, helpful in giving honest feedback from his experience, constructive, and has helped me design a suit I am confident will last my lifetime. Can't wait for the final product!”

“MADI is a high-quality shop with a heart-driven mission and one of my favorite spaces to spend time in Kansas City, when I used to live there. The owner welcomed me in by letting me know the shop is based on the premise of making a difference. Everything the store was based on was a manifestation for me to have found: organic clothing, pure plant dyes, devotion to proper pay for people. MADI is a gem, and I shop their online store now since I live in Florida. Their purpose deserves above-and-beyond gratitude. I have two pairs of their silk shorts! This shop is the best!”

“I popped in to visit IMKC while out mall walking over the Christmas season. I rarely drive into the city to walk, so I didn’t know this store was there. Very nice with some fun and interesting items for sale. I am thrilled to see other Kansas City locations than usual displayed here. I bought gifts for my son and his wife as well as myself. The quality of the items is quite good, and there’s a nice selection readily available. The prices are in line with similar merchandise in the KC area. The men who assisted me were very engaging and friendly. I give IMKC two very enthusiastic thumbs up!?????”
