They helped me with the pricing and selection that best fit her car. My car had to be looked at for a challenging repair on the suspension. I never even thought about taking it to the dealership. Jordan and Chadd identified the problem and were relentless about getting it fixed and fixed right. Many other shops would have given up but they got it done and fixed at a very fair price. From greeting you at the door, to communication, service and price, I would highly recommend using them for all your auto tire and repair needs.”

“Best mechanic I have ever used. I highly recommend using them. I took both my cars to get serviced and they gave me fair and reasonable quotes. They even reduced the price of one because it took less labor hours, I have never heard of a mechanic doing that. The second car had an issue, and they took the extra step of figuring out that this issue was under warranty and I could get it done for free at the dealership, instead of from them. For someone who doesn't know a lot about cars and always feels like the mechanic is trying to scam me, I truly felt they had my best intentions and were just trying to do honest work and help people with their cars.”

They were very nice and knowledgeable speaking with me, but I was actually most impressed with their customer service I noticed as I was waiting. They had two separate customers that I would’ve had trouble dealing with if I was in their shoes but the employees were so polite to these people and handled both situations with such professionalism making sure the client left happy, which they did!”

This guy fixed my AC, a valve gasket leak, brakes, rotors and more than i'll ever know how to do. Even if it's a problem I think I can fix myself, I'll call about him and he'll tell me exactly what to look for. Thats how much of a stand-up guy Adam is.
I was going to other mechanics around Lenexa before and they were overcharging and over-fixing every time I had a problem and I can tell you Adam is nothing like that. He is honest and upfront about everything with your car and I wouldn't put my trust in anyone else's hands.
He's also got tons of stories about his life. Next time you're in there ask him about the time he fought MMA. Or the time he jumped a side-by-side off a ramp, DUKES OF HAZZARD style!”

“I rolled into Fry's late Friday afternoon bc my engine light was on and my car was having a hard time starting - I was panicking bc I was leaving for a road trip at the crack of dawn the next day. The two guys were spread thin, but said they would at least check to see if it was the battery. They were so nice, professional and helpful. They replaced my battery and my engine light went off, car started perfectly and I was on my way in under 30 minutes. They could have easily blown me off saying I needed an appointment, it's the end of the day, blah, blah, but they were so willing to try and help. I am very impressed. I WILL be back! Plus, the place is very clean and tidy.”

“Had car dropped off within 24 hours of inquiry, had a quote next morning and service completed by that afternoon. $520 to replace both rear shocks - don’t have a strong baseline of comparison but seemed in line / slightly above online comps. Happy with the service and speed of turnaround, staff was friendly and helpful. Will likely go back when need be.”
“When I got there, the supervisor was chastising an employee with the door open, while at least 5 people were waiting for service! I got tired of waiting, I just needed my air pressure checked. I did buy all 4 of my tires from there. OK, so I went outside and asked one of the guys in the garage to help! He was more than glad to assist me in taking care of my problem in no time.
That was all I wanted was a little courtesy, and I got that with the people in the garage...Thank you!”

“Need to share an example of honesty! Shout out to Palmer, a mechanic at Firestone Overland Park at 135th St. Story: I had a flat, removed the tire and first took it to Tires Plus for repair, but after checking it, they said it could not be repaired, and I needed to buy a new one. In addition, told me that due to issues that it can cause to the power train all 4 tires need to be replaced at same time (Note: tires only have 10,000 miles on them). So, started quoting and Firestone at Overland Park offered me the best price. Once there, service started and after a while, Palmer comes out and tells me that the tire is fully repairable and there is no need to buy the new tires. Palmer could have easily just replaced with the new tires, but thanks to his and Firestone OP honesty and customer care, it saved me a bunch. I will always be a customer!”
“I would like to give y’all a better rating, but I went in for a specific issue and pointed out my areas of concern. I asked if they could test drive my car to hear the noise I was experiencing. While I appreciate them getting me in and out quickly, I was fine with waiting longer for a thorough inspection. Instead, they just lifted the car, said it looked fine, and didn’t test-drive it—even after I explained when and how the noise occurs. My car is essential for my work, and for what I paid, I didn’t receive the inspection I expected. Now, I’m being told I have to pay again. The inspection fee may be cheap, but times are hard—I just moved from Atlanta, I’m still settling in, and every dollar matters. While they removed my broken skid plate, they didn’t inspect my suspension or test drive my car. If they had, I could have planned repairs. Now, I have to pay again for what should’ve been done the first time, which isn’t fair.
No, I don’t want to leave a low rating, but I came in for an urgent issue. While I appreciate the quick service, my concerns weren’t addressed. I would’ve preferred clear feedback on what was checked, potential issues, and costs instead of having to ask.

“After going to multiple Firestone stores in the metro area and being disappointed I somehow landed on this one. That was years ago and it has been my choice and often recommended store since. As a woman it's important to me not to feel that I am being talked down to or somehow scammed. These guys are knowledgeable and give honest opinions. I even took the recommendation of the manager, Jeremiah, for a dealership at which to purchase cars. I'm very happy with that recommendation! Update: June 24. My experience at the store last fall after all of the guys I had worked with for years were gone was a terrible experience. Definitely a "she's a woman, she won't know any better" experience. But I did know better and I went somewhere else. Now I am happy to say that individual is no longer there and the excellent new manager, Geoff, once again inspires confidence that I will be treated right and honestly! And for anyone looking, Geoff says he will match any other stores tire price!”
