“My go-to store for the pups! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, facility is clean and maintained, they donate back to local shelters and always have a variety of items to choose from. Huge plus is the dog wash stations! Don’t have to worry about getting your home tub dirty, and they have all the necessary shampoo, dryer, towels and human apron to make it an easy process.”

“Took our pup in for his first grooming experience & both the ladies we met were so kind. It was a spur of the moment, and she texted right away to let us know she’d take him! It was such short notice on my part, but she was so accommodating. Bonus; it didn’t take long either, and our boy is finally free with his new summer look! We didn’t know exactly what we wanted, we just didn’t want it too short. She did a great job: He looks so cute!”

“My Zuzu is very particular when it comes to grooming, and I am very happy to report that she had a wonderful first visit at Treats Unleashed! Meg was incredibly sweet and accommodating, and I really appreciated the time she took to get to know my baby. It wasn't a rushed process, and she looks absolutely stunning! I will absolutely return.”

“New to the area and got our girl her new collar and tag from here for her new address. Highly recommend coming here for your cat or dog because they sell all kinds of stuff. The toys are very durable and they sell single ingredient treats which is perfect for my dog with medical needs.”

“I have taken my dog to Happy Pawz for boarding and grooming for the past nine years. They love and care for him like he was their own dog. We use the mobile grooming service, which is so convenient and worth the extra cost. My dogs are my babies, so I take their care very seriously. I would highly recommend their services!”

“I'm not sure who in the store does this, but every online order I have comes with a little note. This specific one included a duck and some twinkling stars drawn on it, and it's a really nice touch on an otherwise generic order. Really made my day.”

“We have used four paws spa for several years now. We used the self service bath option for a while and recently switched to the bathing service. One of my dogs is very nervous with baths and blow drying and Tammy takes such good care of her. She pays attention to her behavior and communication and I have no worries when she’s in her hands! They only kennel if absolutely necessary which I greatly appreciate. Their pricing is so affordable, too! We recut started doing the deshed treatment for my short haired Shepard mix. And I was blown away with how well it worked. And now I’ll never go back haha. It lasted for almost 3 months! You can just tell the group cares about your dogs as much as you do and it gives you such peace of mind as a dog owner. Highly HIGHLY recommend giving it a shot here if you haven’t!”

“Hands down the best place to adopt pets, and purchase pet products. They're also super knowledgeable about anything animal related. I have successfully started a freshwater aquarium with their information, and their products including all of my fish. And they are completely healthy and have no issues.”

“Supporting local businesses is easy when they're run by people who genuinely care. We love having such an incredible pet supply shop right here in downtown Kansas City. They carry some of the best products, and it's always nice knowing we're supporting a local, family-owned business. We stopped in today looking for a new harness for our puppy, and Christine and Jackson went above and beyond. They got down on the floor with us to help fit the harness, offered treats, shared thoughtful recommendations, and made the whole experience extra enjoyable. You can tell they truly love their customers and animals, and want what's best for them. Their kindness, knowledge, and genuine passion are what keep us coming back. We're so grateful to have a shop like this in our neighborhood. Highly recommend! ❤”

“I originally heard about Champ Works because they carry Mathis Meat, and I was really intrigued after learning Mathis Meat works directly with multiple zoos for raw feeding. As someone who’s a huge animal lover, that really stood out to me. Since then, I’ve been getting my raw blends here regularly and have had a great experience.”

“I’m really pleased with our Gou Gou Pets products! They gifted me some allergy shampoo and first-aid ointment for my dog who was struggling with environmental allergies. Her ear tips would dry out, chap, and break open. Using this ointment once a day has helped them stay moisturized and we didn’t have one incident of them opening this spring. My dog who got skin scabs last year due to allergies did not get any this year when I kept up on baths with the allergy shampoo! I am super impressed by how well these worked!”

“7-21-2026: Given the location of it, the employees are very nice and polite and helpful. They've got a decent selection of merchandise and they keep it rather clean and tidy. The only thing is dislike is they're rather expensive compared to Lowe's and Home Depot”

“Bri is hands down the best groomer we’ve ever had, and I honestly wouldn’t trust my dogs with anyone else. I have two very different dogs—a White German Shepherd with a very high-maintenance coat and a long-haired Dachshund who can be nervous about grooming. Neither of them loves every part of the grooming process, so they both need someone with a lot of patience, kindness, and understanding. Bri has all of those qualities and more. The biggest compliment I can give is this: my dogs absolutely adore her. The second we pull up, they drag me to the door because they’re so excited to see her. They greet her like she’s family and happily go back with her without hesitation. As a dog trainer, I know that kind of enthusiasm can’t be faked—it comes from consistently being treated with patience, respect, and genuine care. My Shepherd always comes home with the most gorgeous, bright white coat, and anyone with a white Shepherd knows how much work goes into keeping them looking that clean. My Dachshund always looks absolutely beautiful, too, and I know Bri takes the time to make sure she’s comfortable throughout the process. Bri is not only incredibly talented at what she does, but she’s also one of the kindest people you’ll meet. She treats both me and my dogs with so much care, and it shows every single visit. I truly can’t recommend her enough, and we won’t be going anywhere else.”

“Another quick to get to store. We live in the Dotte but found ourselves in this area for dinner. We cut it too close to get to the one by our house before closing,so we just ran in to this one real quick. Staff seemed friendly. There was a puppy training session going on while we were there. Everyone looked like things were going well. It took us a minute to find our Staffy's brand of food. The stores are never set up exactly the same. Actually took us twice of walking all the dog isles before we found her food. It was in stock, as were her food toppers. As an added treat, this store had her neopolitan cookies in stock so we grabbed a bag before hitting the register. Only negative is our dog is too picky & bougie but we still got out of there for less than anticipated.”

“We are happy to have a PetSmart in WyCo! They have all the standard PetSmart stuff...which is why we go: premium cat food, dog food, food for our amphibians and reptiles, Nature's Miracle products, etc. The staff are terrific! Most of the staff are knowledgeable (some, it's limited -- but that's with ANY pet store). Nice ladies at the grooming center, too! Cats for adoption...a few small pets...birds, fish. Always clean when we've gone. I've never used the grooming services there, but hear it's fantastic! The only downside is that it's a small store - not as much space as the other PetSmarts. Great store - great staff! Good sales, too! After Christmas sales, etc.”
