Nice place for a coffee, snack or breakfast. We stopped for breakfast on our way back to Colorado. I had an exceptionally good dark chocolate pistachio latte (how can that not be good). My husband and I shared a breakfast burrito and half bagel with lox, both very tasty. The burrito was fresh and flavorful and the bagel had an impressive amount of lox. The service was friendly and efficient. We would certainly return if in the area.

The coffee was decent, but not great. If they think there liberal signs are unifying, guess again

I come here regularly to enjoy all this place has to offer. Great vibe, amazing staff, and the best coffee in Salina. The other day I had a very safe and reassuring experience with one of the workers. As I said I am in frequently and was caught in an uncomfortable conversation with someone I didn’t know. Mo noticed immediately that I was uncomfortable and steered the person in another direction. The staff look out for you and they are amazing.Dietary restrictions: They are constantly serving baked goods that cater to dietary restrictions. All delicious.Kid-friendliness: They have a spot in the back for kids to play and a ton of books for them to read

I absolutely love this gem. The coffee is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is great. I come by whenever I'm in town -- definitely worth the stop!

The cutest coffee shop in Salina! So happy we stopped in. The atmosphere here is welcoming and cozy. My parents and I ordered iced coffees and my sister an iced chai, we all said our drinks were delicious! Employees were very kind and I was even given the oat milk to pour myself which I loved. It’s the little things :) We are visiting from Florida and we don’t see a lot of coffee shops like this one very often. I adored all the plants and books they had to look at too. Totally recommended to anyone visiting or just stopping by town, you’re also supporting a small business!

The best coffee shop in Salina (and not too far off the path for travelers just passing through) I had the best breakfast burrito of my life here this morning! The baristas were completely knowledgeable and made my macchiato perfectly. While you’re here you have to take a stroll downtown.

Fantastic coffee shop! I love the space and ambiance here. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to! I tried a lemon blueberry gluten free scone and chai tea. Wow! I’d highly recommend this place!

Overall, it was a great first visit. A decent used book collection, and my chai tea latte was perfect.

Good variety of new and used books. Nice atmosphere. Great coffee. We enjoyed our conversation with the owner. Ask him about his poetry!

Far exceeded our expectations! We found this gem on a whim on our way out of town and it did not disappoint. We’re admit-tingly total coffee snobs and wow- the flavor combination in the special latte was so smooth and absolutely delicious. My husband had the sweet potato muffin and I had a gf banana peanut butter chocolate chip bread and both were amazingly moist and so tasty. The service was fast and super friendly as well! Highly recommend.

I love this coffee shop! Wonderful atmosphere, great customer service, delicious coffee. I make a point to stop in every time I drive across country.Edit: The new location a few doors down from the old one is just as lovely! Same great atmosphere, and continues to be my favorite coffee shop in the U.S.

Won’t be going anymore too many liberals and wokes pushing their opinions on the whole place, including the manager. Restrooms were dirty first thing in the morning. Coffee is dark, gross, and bitter no matter what you add to it. Also, dress up costumes and hats are not sanitary for children. Think lice, viruses, etc.

Terrible service and the baristas, if you can call them that, need a lot of work. They're putting complex drinks on the menu and making them like Starbucks. I wanted a pour over and the young kid didn't even know how to do it. Take it off the menu!

The man at the counter who also made my coffee was a total gentleman and caring! Avocado bagel was yummy. Cute little shop. Great atmosphere and the bathroom was GORGEOUS!

Ad Astra is a local coffee shop. It is in a very old and unique storefront that's all brick inside. All of the bricks are over 100 years old I'm sure. It's locally ran, it has amazing cappuccinos and coffee you can set and browse at books and read for free, enjoying an assortment of coffee beverages. There's also coffees that you can buy there that are roasted in Central Kansas that are very good! You can also buy local honey there. The inside is very spacious and big, with high ceilings. It is nice and casual place where you can just sit and enjoy a cup of coffee, a slice of pie, an Italian soda etc. Definitely stop by and check it out!
