“STRANDED. On a 3-day holiday weekend. I was a driving a Ford F350 diesel truck to Grand Junction, CO, 4 hours further than Denver. The transfer case went out just outside of Salina, KS. I parked it for the weekend in a hotel parking lot, then drove it to Central Plains Diesel & Repair as soon as they opened on Tuesday morning. I was greeted and immediately attended to. Dan, the owner, is friendly, respectful, and knew his crew would do all they could to get my truck up and running. The mechanic that worked on my truck is David, and the Shop Manager is Adam, who makes sure everything gets done right, and on time. David took the time to explain the problem and offered options on repairs. He was honest with his knowledge, and skillful in his work. He tested the part before and after he installed it. It wasn't quite perfect so he ordered a new seal for the transfer case, tested it again, and sent me down the road that very evening. I highly recommend Central Plains Diesel & Repair. They really care about providing high quality service. And I can tell you, this company was built on trust and integrity. - Joe S.”
“From ordering tires and wheels to installation was a great experience. I gave only 4 stars because I ordered a winter package, meaning I was taking my original wheels and tires home. But someone threw away the original lug nuts, so they had to rummage through the garbage to find them. The new ones won't fit the original wheels so it was imperative. One was still missing, so they replaced it. But it was different from the other 19. Since I was right down the street from my Ford dealer, I went by to purchase one lug nut, which Discount Tire paid for. Thank you! But along the way, the tires shifted, and when I opened the trunk to grab a lug nut for comparison, one tire/wheel fell out, hit the ground and bounced upward, thereby spraining my finger! I'm ok, but by then, is was definitely ready to go home! But everything worked out, but gosh! Lol”
“I had my passenger front door replaced December 2022 a few months after I had to work done I noticed that my window was not going up and down kind of forgot about it until today when I went in to the shop and asked if they could fix it no questions asked he put it in the garage 3 years later and it works fine there was also a problem with my back passenger door not latching properly he fixed that as well had no charge thank you Midwest Auto collision !”

“Wow just wow I don't write reviews often but I gotta say absolutely true heros at this location definitely my favorite store I've ever been to, my car broke down on a cross country trip from Oregon to Tennessee when it was cold as the devil y'all helped me out with the wheel bearing that turned to putty and taught me what to do with the snapped caliper pin big shout out to Roger wether it's good coffee, hospitality or getting gloves greasy he helps you get it done! “The roof of our 2005 motorhome decided that it was time for it to be disconnected from the front of our rig, and then peel back. We were blessed to find Kent Lorenson at his shop on the first Saturday that he wasn't supposed to be open. After letting him know what kind of problem we had, he said he'd work on it on Monday and allowed us to stay in his shop's driveway until then. The repair was done on Wednesday, but we didn't drive it until Friday as we wanted the roofing cement to be cured completely. We took a water hose up on the roof to see if there were any leaks, my wife and I were inside, and there weren't any. I strongly recommend Lorenson Industries. In addition to everyone in the shop being friendly, the greeter is a golden lab. Very nice dog!”
