“New store is great! I have visited several times since it opened. I do.feel they could have a better selection of FIFA items for sale, since this is a huge sports event throughout the US with Kansas City playing host to several teams & the Chiefs Stadium as one of the event venues.”

“I used to consign with Stephanie when she owned the shop. Now Kristen owns it and seems to be very organized and efficient and friendly. I moved out of town, but she has emailed me a couple times explaining things for my situation. I also appreciate the online site to check when items sell.”

“Was looking for matching Hawaiian shirts for me and my sons. When I called and asked the lady, she told me she would set out a few for me to see. She brought out, before I got there, about a dozen choices, and made it a very quick and easy process as I was short on time. Earned my business for sure.”

“I want to start by recognizing the incredible team at this location. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and genuinely personable. Their customer service is the reason I choose to shop at this Hot Topic over others, and they make every visit a positive experience.

I’m an avid collector and have been a loyal customer for over 16 years, so I’ve seen firsthand how much inventory availability impacts the shopping experience. That said, my main concern is the noticeable lack of inventory. I want to be very clear that this is not a reflection of the employees. They do an outstanding job with the resources they have. The challenge appears to come from inventory allocation and supply decisions made at the corporate level.

It’s hard not to notice that limited in-store inventory is effectively forcing loyal customers toward online shopping, or going to the competitor, once again a corporate decision, rather than encouraging them to visit the store. When shelves are understocked or hot ticketed items are unavailable, it removes the incentive to shop in person. Many customers genuinely prefer the in-store experience.

Especially in today’s economic climate, with tariffs hiking prices, customers are spending additional time and money traveling to other locations just to find the hot ticketed items, which ultimately is an extra added expense. Having the latest items in-store inventory isn’t just important, it’s essential to maintaining foot traffic and customer loyalty. When availability doesn’t meet demand, it risks leaving companies out of touch with their most loyal customers.

This scenario is all too familiar, corporate decisions around distribution and inventory have a direct impact on store performance, employee morale, and customer loyalty. This location, in particular, has a strong, capable team that clearly cares about the brand and its customers. With proper inventory support, I have no doubt this store could drive stronger sales, increase traffic, and perform at its full potential.

I sincerely hope corporate leadership reevaluates how inventory is allocated to this location so that both the staff and loyal customers can enjoy the experience they deserve.”

“I had an amazing experience with T-Shirts 4U here in KC. They made custom t-shirts, quarter zips, and hats for my business and everything came out super clean and high quality. The prints and stitching look great, and you can tell they really care about their work.

Customer service was solid too—easy to communicate with and they got everything done on time. If you need custom apparel done right, I definitely recommend them. I’ll be coming back for more!”

“This is feast or famine shopping. Sometimes I find great bargains and quality items; other tubes there's nothing I want to take home. Do you enjoy the hunt? If so, this is a place you'll enjoy. I always like perusing the store to see what's new.

My granddaughters have found clothes there.
I've gotten jackets, jeans, home decor and kitchen gadgets.”
