“Dillard’s Topeka has great staff! When shopping for my 83 year old mother-in-law or my wife the women who work in the women’s clothing departments are always helpful. Where it is making suggestions, finding the same clothing in different sizes or helping find an item online to purchase that is not stocked in the store the employees bend over backwards to make customers happy. It is a great place to shop. I am not shy in asking for assistance and I always find that the employees work hard to make the shopping experience pleasant! Selection is decent in Topeka, perhaps not as good as KC but they do pretty well at this location. Highly recommend!”
“Today it was very busy and the store was messy with many customers' kids not well supervised. Staff were working hard to keep up & despite it all were helpful & pleasant. Prices are good if you aren't bothered by disorder.”

“The staff is absolutely wonderful. I broke my thumb and was in a cast for 5 weeks & am still in PT for it. They help me load heavy stuff into my cart then they make sure to meet me at the door after checkout to walk me out & transfer those heavy items into my car. I really appreciate the staff at my local Tractor Supply Company.”

“This is my go to place for clothes for my grandsons, shoes & purses for myself & granddaughters, & the excellent jams & jellies. It’s like finding a treasure when you least expect to. An added bonus are their employees - friendly, helpful, conscientious. All this makes for a happy shopping experience.”
“It's Walmart! But it's chill and staff aren't like following you around too insultingly. Wellll....rhere was a redheaded guy in the front being overly present with 2 radios and 2 phones acting like a agent but my girl just used the restroom and we went back to shopping but the rest was NICE. My favorite Walmart super out of 2 cities.”
“Mostly positive experience. Only thing I don't like is during the evening when they start stocking in the cold section they block the small areas to get your items. You end up have to go way down and around their pallets.”

Currently with the recent construction changes it is hard to get to this store on US 24. Maps is not updated properly on how to get there from the west. I went a few miles out of the way to the north and east to find my own route. 10/30/2024.”

“It's a fairly decent place to buy kitchen and bedroom/bathroom items. Prices are discounted for most categories, though you need to be a bit choosy. They also have pet supplies and toys.
Selection is above average but not super-extensive (I was looking for a narrow utensil drawer holder but could not find one). Cashier was polite. Hours are reasonable as well.”

“I have to say that the new manager for the studio has been doing an amazing job. My photographer also did an amazing job, I think their name was Ellie or Elle something like that. I do think that they should schedule 30-minute appointments instead of every 15 minutes. Photos turned out great ? A bit expensive”
“I like this walmart. In the mornings it is very busy with employees stocking and picking for curbside or delivery. Nonetheless, although I do not live in Topeka, I visit often, and this store never disappoints.”
“This is feast or famine shopping. Sometimes I find great bargains and quality items; other tubes there's nothing I want to take home. Do you enjoy the hunt? If so, this is a place you'll enjoy. I always like perusing the store to see what's new.
My granddaughters have found clothes there.
I've gotten jackets, jeans, home decor and kitchen gadgets.”

“I've never reviewed a Walmart, but this one is worthy! I haven't been toi this location. Always go to 37th street location. When I walked in, I was kind of in awe! Ight was clean, and well organized. Something about it was just different. Not that others are dirty, but this one was just noticeably clean as nd organized. But even better, the greater was friendly, AND helpful. He greeted me in, then asked if I found the water refill station for my 5 gallon Primo jug. On way out, he followed up and asked if I found it. I told him it only filled 1 gallon containers, so I couldn't fill it. He told me its adjustable, and went with me to show me how- even though I was on way out the door! Cashier also asked questions and had a good conversation. It is nice to see employees who doubt act like they hate their jobs! They really made a good impression. I'll start shopping there from now on, instead of the 37th st local!”

“There is a cashier at Kohl's in Topeka, KS who is amazing. Her name is Shari and she is the best. She is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy and is treated fairly. She's got to know me on a first name basis and always asks how I'm doing. She treats my service dog with respect and is always willing to help with anything I may need. She is the best employee there and I know she deserves a raise. She is the reason for the five star review.”
