Hampton Inn Topeka offers a comfortable stay with clean and well-maintained rooms. Guests appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, especially at check-in, where the process was quick and easy. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood off Wanamaker on Arrowhead, near several restaurants and close to the highway, making it convenient for travelers. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with some guests noting that the bathrooms, including ADA accessible options, are well-equipped and in good condition. The breakfast area is clean and maintained, offering a variety of items like eggs, sausage, potatoes, and cereal, though some guests found the breakfast service lacking, with food not being replenished and long lines. The outdoor area is neat and safe, with a well-kept appearance. However, the Wi-Fi service was often poor, making it difficult to stream or connect to the internet, and the TV in some rooms was small relative to the distance from the bed. During a tornado watch, safety advice was questionable, as the designated safe area was near windows, which was concerning. The pool and hot tub needed cleaning, which disappointed guests expecting a more inviting swimming area. Overall, Hampton Inn Topeka provides a generally pleasant stay with friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location, though improvements in breakfast service, Wi-Fi, and pool maintenance could enhance guest experiences.
It was a late check in for us. No amenities were open. Pool was closed for maintenance ?
