“I collect and this place gas gotten me so many items that are awesome! Helmets, covers, camo, flight suits even! And all that small stuff too like pouches or canteens. If your into camping, or military l, check this place out, you'll love it.”
“New store is great! I have visited several times since it opened. I do.feel they could have a better selection of FIFA items for sale, since this is a huge sports event throughout the US with Kansas City playing host to several teams & the Chiefs Stadium as one of the event venues.”
“Anthony provides exceptional customer service and makes an impactful difference to the shoppers experience all the while connecting the customer to the correct piece of clothing or shoes that meets the needs.”
“Not as much choice of dressier shoes, but great choices of casual wear. Larger size choice was good. Larger socks as well. Really like Skechers so appreciate the selection.”
“Went for their Carbine class and was really happy with the experience. Great coaching and personal feedback during the class and a very welcoming atmosphere for a beginner.”
“Jason always does a great job explaining the sales. We appreciate his knowledge and that they are are a Kansas business owned and operated. Also has a great selection of WU Merch!”

“I went in there today looking for a walking pad but they only had one and it was kinda spendy so I ended up ordering one off of Amazon, where they had a ton to chose from. I ended up getting a couple of shirts from Academy today instead. I wasn’t impressed with the choice of selection today but I still like shopping there. I like Academy for their good deals.”
“Good place to get sports gear local.
Feels limited on sizes for kids gear such as cleats and such. We were lucky they had the size that fit in one of the four options for indoor cleats.”

“Nice people. Clean store. Everyone was friendly, patient, and seemed knowledgeable. I got a pair of shoes that remarkably changed my life (no fooling). I’ve been unable to walk no more than a hundred yards and I am at 2 miles. Excellent shoes, excellent service. And I like the 30 return policy. I trust them so far.
Craig is a nice guy and helped me. I apologize for not remembering other staff who were there on Monday 8/31/26 around 11:30 am, they were swell, too.”
