“They were still able to get me in on a snowy day so they were very busy. The driver asked what was happening instead of just towing it. So glad he did because he was able to jump it which saved me from a full tow charge to a jump charge. He was very nice and helpful. Will use them again if needed.”

“Omg! I love these guys! They saved me when the EV Truck I rented ran out of charge on Hwy 99 (my fault...I read the guage wrong). These guys were Wonderful! I think they were a father and son team. They were both just so kind and caring and capable, and their attitude was awesome! And it was no small feat getting that 6000 pound beast to move and get onto a flatbed tow truck on busy, narrow Hwy 99! They had a real Can-Do attitude. Not cranky or tired or irritated; just super gung-ho to get that beast on their rig, and they did it quickly despite it not going into neutral without a lot of effort. They're real Pros! Then they towed it to a charger station, with my three cats still in the truck (one climbed onto the younger guy's shoulder as he was driving it onto the tow bed. Lol and he thought it was funny not annoying, which was so cute :) Lol. The charger station parking lot was so narrow I didn't think the truck would be able to get into a space to charge, but these guys knew just what to do. They got it off the flatbed and then pushed it into a tight charging stall. I still don't know how they did it but it was impressive especially considering how tight and busy the parking lot was. Like I said, they are real pros! And they care about the customer. They were darling and just the BEST! Honestly they made my whole week! Service like this does not exist anymore and to say it was refreshing is an understatement. Saurez Towing is Highly Recommended!”

“PRO: The staff that was there was wonderful. The 2 who helped me were great. I wasn't thrilled with being bumped up from 15 ft to a 20 ft bcuz I only needed a 10ft but also needed a ramp, so I had to go up size to 15 ft truck I didn't need to begin with. Going up to a 20 ft meant more gas & a bigger truck for me to drive across the country & while I wasn't thrilled about this, I understand these things happen because I had to postpone my moving day by 2 days due to a hurricane going thru my driving area & while it wasn't ideal, it was an acceptable solution. BUT I did explain to them that my trip had to be re-routed due to the damage from Hurricane Helene thru eastern TN & western NC bcuz the interstate highway that I needed to drive was washed completely away!! Because of this, I'd have to drive much farther up north & I wondered about the extra time & miles & cost that might add to my rental. The staff was nice enough to understand & add an extra day & a couple hundred extra miles for me at no extra charge! That was really great of them to do bcuz this was for sure an act of God that happened & I wasn't sure it would be OK for me to keep the truck longer if needed to find a safer route, which I did need to do.
I've used this uhaul location several times over the last 2 decades when I move to/from Topeka or within Topeka. I've also rented storage space from them for a few months. The 2 times I've rented a tow dolly with a truck, they've always been really good about showing me what they're doing to secure my vehicle. When in Topeka, they are my go-to uhaul choice for sure.

CON: This visit, it was 830 on Sunday, there was already a group of us waiting in the parking lot for the doors to open at 9. Then 2 guys showed up at 858, walked past all of us, stood right at the door & pushed past all of us when the doors were unlocked at 9am. They cut in front of all of us at the door & they were 1st in line at the counter. There was only 1 person working the counter & she had to come in & out to help them. By the time they got done, the rest of us had been in line for over 30 minutes INSIDE PLUS the time we waited in the parking lot. So these jerks who showed up last, got served 1st. Yes, I know uhaul can't do anything about selfish men acting like entitled jerks cutting in front of a bunch of us old ladies, but you could put a numbering system (like a "take a number" stand) or some kind of electronic check-in system (like at the tag office) so that it's more fair bcuz I was 4th in line bcuz of these guys, despite being there long before them. The people in front of me were also waiting in the parking lot, long before those men. So the staff had to deal with a bunch of irate customers who were mad before we even got to the counter bcuz of these jerks. Which isn't fair to the staff any more than it's fair to the customers who showed up 1st. It was just really frustrating to see this happen at the door again & it really happens every time people are waiting for the doors to open. Some other ways to check in might help with everyone's experience. Again, I know you can't control how selfish people are, but you can contribute to a better check-in system. You customers would appreciate it & in sure your staff would like to not have to deal with that kind of mess either.”

“I was heading from Leavenworth, KS to Carbondale,KS to my friends wedding over half way through the drive I realized I had forgotten my wallet at home. I only had a three dollars on a card that I was going to try to use to pay over the phone and the amazing worker Courtney was awesome enough to help me with some gas! I highly recommend Kourtney she is an amazing person if you have a chance to meet her she is very amazing just thank her for everything that she has done for me! I will be calling the owners to let them know they have A very amazing person working for them who has a beautiful heart!
