“The clinic was referred to us and we are extremely happy with them. We have a cat that needed care quickly. I called Monday and they were able to get us in Tuesday. Tally, our cat, had abscessed teeth and was in a lot of pain. We left her in their care overnight so they could do surgery on her Wednesday. They removed the problem teeth and she's doing well!!!! Would definitely recommend their office!!!!!”

But the reason I chose them over the other vets I called, is because they were so kind and showed concern for my dog when I called.When I showed up to the office, the staff was amazing and made me feel like my dog was in good hands. “I think they did a wonderful job. I was able to get my cat looked at the day I called, they accurately diagnosed the problem and the cost was extremely reasonable. Dr. Steele did a great job figuring out what was wrong with my cat and she didn't hesitate to do (the unpleasant) job of fixing it. My cat is so spoiled, she screamed like a baby, she was having issues with her fat little behind bothering her and the doctor "dug" right in and fixed the issue. Afterwards my cat showed a marked improvement in her activity and overall demeanor. So I think Dr. Steele figured out what was hurting her and took care of it. I can say I've been to other vets and none of them were willing to "dig in" and figure out why my chubby little sweet girl was in so much pain. Also the staff there were very nice - unlike other vets in the area (talking about Paw Prints who have the rudest, most unpleasant and down right hateful staff ever). At this place everyone was super nice. And the cost was really reasonable, its hard to take your pet in and not expect to pay hundreds of dollars for something that may, or may not fix the problem. They charged me a good price for the exam and did not tack on a bunch of extra stuff (like Paw Prints). I will definitely be taking my cats back to Family Pat Hospital and seeing Dr. Steele again.”

I was stressed when I got home from work and noticed my dog appeared to have an eye infection. I was new to Topeka and didn’t have a local vet so I asked a friend who they use and they recommended this office. I called at 3:40 and they got me in at 4 that day! They were thorough and kind and made me feel very comfortable with this being my first visit to them. We will definitely be using this vet regularly as we love that they honor our dog as an important member of our family.”

“Took our granddogs to get groomed & 1 vaccine expired yesterday, mind you it was a Sunday. We don't ever get our vaccines early. Drove 40 minutes to get there. Seemed as if they know when we came in it was expired. No phone call, had no where to take the dogs as arrangements were made around the dogs getting dropped off. Very unhappy, looked like it was because they really didn't want to work today. Very rude & unprofessional. 0 for customer service. Had our other dog to drop off as well but due to the way we were treated we didn't feel comfortable leaving him there. I WILL NEVER RETURN THERE!”
