YWCA Northeast Kansas is on a mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide affordable, quality childcare in our Early Learning Center; we offer services to ensure the health and safety of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking; we empower women leaders to level up their leadership skills in our Leadership Momentum course; we facilitate conversations and advocate for racial justice, and stand for social justice for all. I tried to obtain counseling there to no avail. Wanted assistance relocating, no help and was told I didn't meet criteria for the women's shelter. I guess because it was full of married couples? I thought it was a shelter for abused women!

Just left there 12 days ago. While trying to make a decision that would help me get away from my husband... they were there. I was suicidal. They listened and supported me 💯.
