In fact, I was so pleased that I ended up going back and buying another pair. While some of the staff members seemed a bit distant, I couldn't tell if it was their usual demeanor or if they were surprised to see a city dweller like myself in their store. However, there was a tall, slender gentleman who I believe is either the owner or the store manager, and he went out of his way to make me feel welcome and comfortable and even went as fait to school me on the boot culture. As long as I continue to receive such positive treatment, I intend to remain a loyal customer of Vanderbilt.”
