Loaded with charm and restored with impressive attention to details, it was perfect for a romantic Valentine's getaway. Featuring ten bedroom suites, a large ballroom, and basement great room with seating for 50, it would be a wonderful location for a retreat or reunion. Located across from the Opera house, it begs a follow up visit to attend a show. We were hoping for a ghost or two, but alas, there were none! The place was immaculate, had fair wireless signal, and basic cable tv. We were left instructions on where to locate keys for self check-in, as it is not staffed. For meals, visit Maryville or Linn, or deli chicken from the local service station. There are no restaurants, per se, in the town itself, but the town does boast a vehicle charging station. We will definitely keep the town festivals on our radar as another opportunity to visit.”
