The staff is very helpful and pleasant. It is a perfect destination for a romantic getaway, a retreat, or a reunion, and is a testament to community commitment to preserving history. Located across from the Opera house and near Main Street, it has good walkability. For meals, visit nearby towns or enjoy delicious home cooking at the hotel on Mondays and Thursdays. The place is immaculate and has fair wireless signal. Some note that the mattresses can be awful and the historic theater seats are a little small, but it remains a lovely place that begs a follow-up visit, especially for town festivals.
